Meet Ellouise! This gorgeous girl was seen being left alongside the road with her mother and her sister, and now she's ready to find her forever family! Ellouise is fantastic with other dogs, housebroken, and madly in love with anyone who wants to give her kisses! She's a staffy mix who weighs about 50lbs, and is only about 6 months old. She's spayed, microchipped, and been vaccinated including rabies. Her adoption fee is $250. This is a little bit about Ellouise from her foster: Hello, My name is Eloise, affectionately known as Ella. I am a fun loving, playful snuggle bug! I am around 6 months old, 50ish lbs, and have a beautiful grey coat with a small splash of white on my chest and back toes. I also have stunning grey/blue/green eyes! My mom is a bully breed but my dad must’ve had a lot of lab in him because I look and act just like a lab. Luckily, I don’t shed like a lab! So far, I shed very very little. I have been fostering with a nice family that has two other large dogs that I get along with wonderfully. Especially my foster sister GoGo. I adore her and we play and romp all day long! I have learned a lot of good manners from GoGo about how to play nice and give breaks during playtime. I have also enjoyed learning how to play with toys from my foster siblings and how to give them space when they ask for it. I would do extremely well in a household with other dogs. I would probably do well with children once I have learned how to act with them because I have excellent bite inhibition. I am fully housebroken, know my name, have darn good recall, and can sit and boop on command. I will be easy to train further because I really really LOVE food of all kinds!! We are currently working on my leash manners. I am also the very definition of a Velcro pup! Where you go, I go. I adore snuggles and pets and all I want is to cuddle up next to you. I don’t seem to have a preference for men or women, I just love everyone who loves me! I am currently in search of my forever home, won’t you please consider me to be a part of your family?

Hi, my name is Natasha, and was found by a Good Samaritan who quickly realized I was pregnant. Luckily, MVPC was able to squeeze me in and I raised seven healthy puppies. Because I, along with my puppies, are unusual looking, MVPC had one DNA tested. The test also gives breeds of each parent, and I have mainly Staffie and American Eskimo! However, realize there are several breeds in there, including Golden Retriever! All of my kids are taller than me now, so if you are looking for a shorter version, I am it. I am a happy, fun girl who loves everyone I meet. I am learning how to play with other dogs, and while I love them, they don’t always love my play, so a tolerant, playful male dog is best! I know all of my commands, but can be subborn! I am scared of thunderstorms, but my foster family is working hard on helping me feel safer and calm during storms. Overall, I am a happy, sweet gal and am going to make an amazing companion! I promise to absolutely keep you laughing all day long. I am so much fun! The many faces of Dolly. Happy, pitiful, playful, and over shenanigans. I am a 70lb package of personality. I came to MVPC VERY pregnant and raised some beautiful puppies. I am still working on regaining my girlish figure, but will probably always have a bit of a saggy belly because I was obviously bred a lot. I am TOTALLY about my peoples, and want to be with (preferably on) you as much as possible! I am fine with other dogs, and even cats! I certainly love my chew toys. They do need to be sturdy and balls of any size are absolutely the bees knees! I want a few minutes, and a couple cookies before you are approved to be my newest BFF, but I have excellent manners and once we are friends, we are FRIENDS. I am active and fun and ready to be a member of an awesome family…rather than constantly raising one. Hi, my name is Bazooka Joe and I ended up at a rural shelter in pretty bad shape. Worst part? I had been adopted, but when my family divorced, they decided they had too many dogs and I was dumped. My skin was raw and red and so ucomfortable. But you know what? I am over all of that. I am the nicest guy ever. I harbor no ill will against anyone. People? love them. Dogs? they are great. Hi, my name is Ryder and I came into MVPC not feeling very well. I was discovered in some bramble, completely hairless, skinny and infected. It was horrible. I felt bad, smelled bad and even ended up with kennel cough in the shelter. I have spent the last few months getting healthy, including growing my hair back. I have turned into a pretty girl!! It is obvious I had NO exposure to life prior to coming into rescue. I would go out on a walk or to training, and my eyes would get all red and I would start panting from stress. But you know what? I also lessened some awesome commands and how to walk on a leash even though it was all new. I am fine with other dogs, but I am still learning how to “dog.” I may bark at new dogs in public (again, I have no idea what I am doing), but in the house, I LOVE to run and play with them! The best part? I bond and listen VERY WELL. Like I have amazing recall and command work. I am smart and just want to please you. I can and will play fetch all day if you let me! I am looking for a family that understands I am still learning and experiencing life, and my eyes turning red are a great indicator that I stressed, but I am HAPPY and CUDDLY and SWEET and am ready to learn anything you want to teach me, as long as I get to be with you!! Please understand that while I am doing well on potty and crate training, I will have accidents and may whine some as I adjust to my new schedule and family.
