Story
DeeDee came to us as a stray that was left unclaimed. Since then she will be spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm tested, and updating her chip info. So far she's shown that she's super smart. DeeDee knows sit, shake (both paws), fetch, and down. She will need some durable chew toys like Bully Make or Bark Box, as she's a heavy chewer. She walks well on leash. Also appears house/potty trained

Story
Maggie came to us as a stray who was left unclaimed. We have dog tested her multiple times and believe at the given time she needs to be a single animal home. We've tested her w dogs of different sizes, energy levels, and genders, but she did not want to get along w any of them. Don't let this deter you though! She is good w kids, she's just not a fan of sharing her people w other animals. Maggie does walk well on leash and is very smart.

Story
Nova is a pit bull. She is almost 3 years old. She was born on May 5, 2018. She weighs 67 pounds. Nova has a sister named Athena. They have lived their whole life together, never spending a single day apart. She was taken into the rescue when she was only 10 months old. Sadly, she has spent most of her life at the rescue. At 5 weeks Nova and Athena were put in with a German Shepard and two Labradors and left to live in horrible living conditions. The only interaction they had with people would be once a day when they got fed. The other dogs have been adopted. But being so young, Nova and Athena developed an unbelievable bond together. They never fight over anything, whether it be a toy or food. They will both curl up together in the same dog house. Because of their bond, we will only allow them to be adopted together. They are both crate trained, up to date on all shots, spayed, and microchipped. The adoption fee for each is $125. They deserve to know what life is beyond the rescue. If you would like them to know a loving home, please fill out an adoption application!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Sweet Chapo, he’s around 5 to 6 years old maybe older. He is the absolute sweetest boy and has the best demeanor. He would rather lay next to me in my office instead of sitting outside or in a kennel. However, if he does go outside, he just prefers to sunbathe. He has not had a consistent owner in his past life and because of that all he wants to do is jump the fence to find you if he’s unable to see you or gets left alone in the yard by himself. However, if he has dog friends in the yard, he has no desire to go anywhere I found out he had an owner a month ago, but they were in Tulsa and said he had been missing for years and said that he was an escape artist and that they were afraid to take him back because he would do the same thing again and because he was a Pitt mix people were scared of them and they didn’t want anything bad to happen They sure that he escaped their yard many times and they aren’t even sure how he ended up in Collinsville, but we’re happy to hear he was still alive. I’m not sure why the sweet boy hasn’t been adopted out. He is great with kids, cats and dogs. He is also house train and kennel trained. He is the most overlooked because he’s just another Oklahoma, black Pitbull mix. As much as I love him, he can’t stay at the shelter forever. It’s only supposed to be temporary and he is currently at risk as he has been at Collinsville Animal Services for 3 weeks. He desperately needs a foster or adopter by June 12th. His $90 adoption fee includes: dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative, vaccinated, given monthly prevention and microchipped.
