Story
Meet Keeva, a female, 6-year-old, American Staffordshire Terrier Mix. She weighs 78 pounds. Keeva is a sweet and well-behaved girl who`s looking for her forever home! After spending time with her, we can confidently say she’s house trained and a joy to walk—she’s easy to leash and loves going on adventures. Keeva adores treats and playtime, making her a perfect companion for fun and cuddles. This lovely girl arrived at the shelter as a stray, wandering the streets alone for at least a week. She was shy and exhausted when she first came in, but after some good food and a restful night’s sleep, she blossomed into the affectionate pup we know today. Keeva is ready to find a loving home where she can snuggle up on cozy dog beds and enjoy indoor living.Keeva needs to be the only pet in the home, as she enjoys being the star of the show. However, she does enjoy supervised playdates outside the home, where she can socialize and make new friends. Keeva is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, and ready to go home today.

Story
Ruby is a very affectionate dog that loves to be with her people. Ruby loves to play fetch in the backyard and is very fast. She also loves to chew on her sturdy toys on her dog bed, or on the grass in the sun. If she gets a squeaky toy it will entertain her for hours, squeaking and throwing it up in the air. Ruby is a very smart dog and knows all of her commands. She walks well on leash and is a great traveler in the car. She loves to please. Ruby loves to play with her dog friends, but would prefer to be the only dog in the home. She is good with other dogs in doggy daycare and on walks. Ruby loves all people and enjoys snuggling by putting her head under your chin and getting close. She doesn't care for young children. She will bark if someone comes to the door, but once they come in she is friendly and snuggly. Ruby is house trained and knows how to use a dog door. She can be left alone 8 hours and will not get into any trouble. She is also fine being crated if needed. Ruby would love a home where she is the center of attention. She would enjoy having daily walks and playtime in the back yard. An adult only home would be best. Ruby is 45lbs. 3 years old. Spayed. Vaccinated and microchipped.

Story
I adopted Jada for a shelter 3.5 months ago. She’s a 1.75 year old spayed pit bull mix. Jada needs an active family who is willing to spend time training her. I am unable to give her enough consistent exercise. Jada is very sweet and cuddly if she’s had enough exercise. She’s playful and very smart. She’s highly food motivated and very athletic. She loves to run and jump. For this reason, I wouldn’t recommend a home with small children. Jada has anxiety, particularly around separation and confinement. She needs someone to work with her on these issues with positive reinforcement. We’ve made progress, but I think consistent exercise like running, long hikes, etc. is the secret to Jada making true progress. Jada is easy to train with a clicker and treats. She knows sit, down, stay, look at me, and come pretty reliably.

Story
Mister is a joyful, sweet-natured boy with a heart as big as his smile! This handsome guy is the perfect mix of playfulness and cuddles—he’s always up for a game of fetch with his favorite ball, followed by cozy snuggles with his people. Mister is one of those dogs who can light up any room with his wagging tail and infectious, happy grin. Friendly, adventurous, and great with kids, Mister is truly the total package. He does well with other dogs as long as introductions are balanced and easy-going. However, Mister is not a fan of feline friends, so he would do best in a cat-free home. Potty-trained and crate-trained, he’s got great manners and is ready to fit right into your home with ease. Mister is currently heartworm positive, but don’t worry—his treatment will be covered, and he's ready to heal up in a loving, forever home. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, and spirited companion who will shower you with kisses and fill your days with joy, Mister is waiting for you! Heartworm is unfortunately quite common in Texas due to the warm, humid climate that allows mosquitoes, which spread heartworm, to thrive year-round. Many dogs in Texas face this risk, but the good news is that heartworm treatment is very effective. With proper medical care, including the treatment provided at adoption, dogs can fully recover and go on to lead long, healthy, and happy lives. With preventive medication, heartworm can be kept at bay, allowing dogs to enjoy an active, fulfilling life with their families. To add Mister to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. He is wagging his tail and wiggling his butt at just the thought of finding his forever home and his story is just beginning! His next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2219801##

Story
Buster's foster mom could NOT say enough about how great he is. He gets along with everyone he meets and is dog friendly, but NO cats. Buster likes to romp and play with anyone willing. He is good on the leash and would make an great ESA for an adult. Although Buster is dog friendly, he has been through ALOT and we are looking for a 1 dog home or a home with only 1 other well mannered dog about his size so Buster can be the focus of the attention his previous owner neglected. He CANNOT be placed with cats or small dogs. Buster some how was chipped with 2 different Microchips so both will need to be registered. Please contact us with any questions.
