Story
Ace is an almost 6 year old pitbull mix. He is strong, people friendly, and curious. Ace would thrive with an active person(s) or family that has young adults. He loves to go on long walks or for a run. A yard is a must as he loves to investigate his surroundings and play fetch. He is very people friendly. He isn't a fan of other dogs or cats. He would be best if he were the only fur baby. He is a cuddler. Experience with the breed is ideal. Ace is ready to be your walking, running, or cuddle bug. ##1501905##

Story
Darwin is a 2-month-old puppy with the gentlest heart and the sweetest personality you could ever ask for. While he absolutely loves to play and have fun like any happy puppy, what really makes Darwin special is how incredibly loving and cuddly he is. He’s the kind of puppy who melts right into you and makes you feel loved instantly. Darwin loves playing with toys, wrestling around with the other puppies, and bouncing around with his adorable puppy excitement. He’s playful, curious, and always ready for fun. He especially enjoys spending time with the other puppies and happily joins in on every little game and adventure. His goofy puppy energy and happy personality make him such a joy to be around. Watch his YouTube video now https://youtu.be/a2t4UFtcy2M?si=_VTI6CdRd4qgBqgF But Darwin’s favorite thing might honestly just be cuddling. He is SUCH a sweet boy. He loves to relax, be close to his people, and soak up all the affection he can get. After playtime, he’s perfectly happy curling up beside you, getting pets, or simply chilling near the people he loves. He has such a calm, comforting sweetness about him that makes everyone fall in love with him so quickly. He has the cutest little puppy face, the sweetest eyes, and the kind of gentle personality that makes him feel like an instant best friend. Darwin is still just a baby, so he’s learning and growing every single day, but one thing is already obvious — he is going to grow into the most loving and loyal companion. Darwin would fit beautifully into a home looking for a puppy who is both playful and affectionate. He’ll happily join you for fun and adventures, but he’ll also be the puppy curled up next to you afterward, completely content just being loved. If you’re looking for a sweet, cuddly, playful little puppy to grow up alongside you, Darwin is ready to steal your heart forever. Good with dogs,
Story
Meet Bear! Some dogs are naturally easygoing with everyone they meet. Bear is not that dog—and that’s exactly what makes him so special. Bear is a 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier, weighing about 55 lbs. of loyalty, sensitivity, and deep devotion to his person. He forms strong, meaningful bonds and is incredibly protective of the people he trusts. Because of this, Bear is looking for a very specific kind of home. He would do best with a single woman or a couple in a calm, low-traffic environment where he doesn’t have to constantly meet new people. New faces can be overwhelming for him, and he needs about five days to truly settle in and build trust. But once he does, his loyalty runs deep—and it’s something really special. Bear’s story has shaped who he is. He previously lived on the streets and experienced instability, which means he approaches the world with caution. He may be wary at first, but he is not without heart—he just needs someone who understands that trust is earned over time, not given immediately. With other dogs, Bear is actually very respectful and submissive. He’s dog-friendly and does well with calm, balanced companions, though large or chaotic pack environments can be overwhelming for him. He thrives best in a more structured and predictable setting. Bear is housebroken and does well with routine. He would do best in a home without children or cats, where his boundaries are understood and respected. What Bear needs most is someone patient, experienced, and willing to meet him where he is. Someone who sees past his initial hesitation and is willing to give him the time and space he needs to feel safe. In return, you’ll gain a deeply loyal, protective companion who will be by your side through everything. Bear isn’t for everyone—but for the right person, he’s everything. His adoption fee is $295 and he is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Apply to meet Bear today! 🐾

Story
Jack Sparrow is a strong, confident, and energetic dog who thrives with patient, experienced handlers. While he shows high stress and reactivity in the kennel, he is fully tolerant of handling once outside the kennel and enjoys attention from his volunteer friends. On leash, he walks well, wags his tail, and is able to focus when given space from other dogs. Jack is highly responsive to structure and benefits from thoughtful distance management around other dogs. He would do best as the only dog in the household with an adopter who understands dog reactivity, has experience with strong, energetic dogs, and can provide consistent guidance, training, and enrichment. With the right home, Jack has the potential to become a loyal and engaging companion. Please consider being the one to give Jack the fresh start he deserves. Jack is 1.5 years old and 80 pounds. ##2642001##

Story
Cocoa is just over a 1 year old now. Spayed/vaccinated. She is a lover. A bit of an attention hog, actually. She gives big, sloppy kisses and loves scratches and squeaky toys. She is not potty trained. She has a strong prey drive and resource guarding, so she really should be in a home with no other pets or small children. She is still learning impulse control. I did start her in training sessions with Sit Means Sit. She has 1 more day class, 10 one-on-one training sessions, and lifetime training/help as needed.
