Story
Smoke is in a foster facility and can be viewed by appointment once an adoption application has been approved. Meet Smoke! Smoke is approximately 2 years old and is an American Staffordshire Terrier type mix. Unfortunately, Smoke came from a home where he witnessed & experienced abuse, so upon his arrival he was understandably overwhelmed & confused. He had a hard time trusting people and had clearly been traumatized. Because of that, we took things slow and let him come around on his own time. Smoke has been making wonderful strides and showing loads of improvements! He's becoming happier, sillier, and more comfortable around everyone he hangs out with. Because of the level of trauma he experienced, however, we decided to place him into foster care with some dedicated trainers who can help Smoke to overcome his fears and learn to trust humans again. He will be in their care until the right family comes along. While at this facility, Smoke has even joined in on Doggy Daycare and absolutely loves interacting with other dogs! This sweet boy has overcome so much trauma and we're so proud to see how well he's doing. His trainers say he's goofy, loving, happy and loving the social life! We are doing all meet n' greets BY APPOINTMENT ONLY after an adoption application has been approved. Meet Popsicle! 🍦 This sweet girl is a golden eyed, beautiful boxer mix, and she’s finally learning what love really feels like. Popsicle spent over two years in a neglected rural shelter before being rescued — she was just a name on a forgotten list. But even after all that time, she’s full of joy, wiggles, and affection. Now thriving in her foster home, Popsicle is gaining confidence every day. She’s goofy, playful, and so eager to be part of a family. Whether she’s trotting alongside you on an adventure or curled up by your side for a snuggle, she just wants to love and be loved. She gets along well with other dogs but she prefers to keep high value things to herself so she utilizes her kennel for high value items. Popsicle is in fact so happy she has her tail amputated due to injury from constant wagging! This girl has come so far. All she needs now is a forever home where she’ll never be overlooked again.
