Story
Hi, Frannie is the sweetest young cat. I found her in my neighborhood about a month ago, but she does not get along with my other cats. She growls and hisses, then attacks. I have not done a good job integrating her. I posted Frannie on Pawboost but no one has claimed her. She is mostly white long hair with Black on her face and back, She is beautiful. I would love to keep her but I think she would be better off in a 1 cat household. I am thinking the few weeks she was on the streets, she became terrified of other cats. She has had a rabies shot and tested negative for FIV, parasites/worms and feline Leukemia. I can give you her records. She has an appointment with Berkeley Humane to get spayed on 11/26/25. I chose American Wirehair as her breed, but I do not know her breed. I am also on a wait list to surrender her in Oakland Animal Services. I would prefer to rehome her.

Story
Meet Ready, a soft-souled, shy sweetheart with some quirky charm to make you smile. After losing her loving owner, she’s hoping for a calm, patient home where she can feel safe again. Ready may start skittish, but once she trusts you, she warms up and becomes chatty, leaning into soft pets, and melting for head scratches (especially after coming inside). She’s not a fan of being picked up, but she’ll curl up at the corner of your bed or couch when she’s feeling social. She also has hilarious quirks like thinks every Q-tip belongs to her, so keep those lids closed! And though she tries to follow her “big brother” hunters outside, her proud deliveries have been entirely of leaves. Her brain cells may be limited, but her sweetness is endless. Ready has lived as an indoor/outdoor cat and prefers a quiet, peaceful, dog-free home with space of her own. She gets along with other cats but likes to eat in peace. Reach out if you want a gentle, loyal companion with a sprinkle of silly charm.

Story
Patches (Patchy) is a feisty and playful cat around 2 years old. She was rescued as a kitten and socialized to people and other cats when she was young. Patchy enjoys grooming (necessary with her long fur) and loves pets. She will frequently find me and meow at me to ask for pets. She isn't a lap cat, but will tolerate being held or carried somewhere for a few moments. She does well at the vet, too. Patchy will do best in a home as the only cat, or with her bonded sister, Boo, who is also listed here. Please consider accepting this beautiful baby into your home! She will provide a lucky owner with many years of love and companionship.

Story
Lux is one of the sweetest kittens ever! She is bonded with her sister Tux, and the two look and act like identical twins! You might be thinking, “I only want to adopt ONE kitten.” But if you’ve never seen a bonded pair of cats, it’s truly an amazing thing! To watch the love they have for each other is so beautiful, PLUS they won’t be lonely while you’re at work, and will always have someone to play with! They both love to sit and snuggle with their “people,” especially at at night in bed. But if you have things to do, that’s ok because they always have each other! In that way, they’re the perfect balance between being affectionate, but also independent. Both kittens enjoy all toys, especially the interactive type, the kinds they can carry in their mouths, and of course, cat tunnels. Tux & Lux are great around kids, too! They love to play “Kitten Football,” where a child (or adult) throws a cat toy and they race to catch and retrieve it! Tux even won this year’s MVP! (“Most Valuable Paw”)! They love other cats too, and think grooming & napping are group activities. But their favorite thing to do is climb! And although they’re still working on not jumping on the counters and tables, a nice high cat tree and window hammock will really help them master their cat manners. There is one big problem, however— they’re absolutely irresistible!! You won’t be able to say no to them when they look at you with their little “puppy dog” eyes. But if you’re ok with falling head over heels in love and turning into one of those crazy cat people, then these are the cats for you! Be prepared to have 3,000 cat pictures on your phone and for your friends and relatives to think you’ve lost your mind. The thing is, YOU WON’T REGRET IT!!
