Are you looking for a special friend that will never leave your side? If so, Autumn might be the kitty for you! Autumn may be blind, but she is always on the lookout for a warm lap to snuggle in. She is super friendly and loving. She can get startled easily from unknown noises so we think a smaller quiet home with little action going on would suit her best. It is unknown how Autumn is with other cats or dogs but we do know she loves to bond with people. Autumn is also pretty playful, she loves toys that make noises like krinkle balls, so she can play soccer around the room. Despite the challenges Autumn has faced in her life, she has learned to persevere. Sweet Autumn is looking for a person that will love and accept her just as she is.... and we think she's purrrfect!!!

This fellow is truly a beautiful soul. While growing stronger after several dental surgeries, his beauty, personality and warmth are really beginning to shine! Bartleby is an affectionate cat that is surprisingly bold and friendly with new people. He enjoys curling up on your lap or just sitting in a soft chair next to you. Although he is a mature adult, he likes to play with his toy mice and soft rolling balls. He does startle easily with sudden movements above him, so you are invited to get down on the floor to play a gentle game of ball. He is most full of energy in the morning at breakfast time. If he thinks that you are sleeping past breakfast time, he will come to the side of your bed and then, with tail high in the air, he will race joyfully to his food bowl. He will do this until we simple humans get the message. He loves belly rubs and being around humans, and would do best as the only cat in the house.

Bonnie is super fun, friendly little lady. Check out those adorable ear tufts! She is outgoing, upbeat and never passes up an opportunity to make new friends. She loves toys and will pounce and prance and tumble for a wiggly wand toy. Bonnie enjoys the company of humans and other cats alike, and would love to join a family with other cats for her to buddy up with, or be adopted with her brother Cole.

If not for the dedicated work of his foster mom and the veterinary team at OVMC, this boy would not be alive today. He is fairly independent but once he bonds with you he will follow you from room to room and sleep next to you. He is a very easy going kitty! So if you are looking for an easy kitty that’s not overly active Angus is the purrfect match. Angus has hypothyroidism and will need to continue to take a medication everyday for the rest of his life. Medicating him is extremely easy! Place the pill in his morning wet food and he will gobble it right up. Because of his condition he will need consistent vet check ups either annually or biannually to make sure his condition is still being treated correctly.    Angus needs a calm household with no young children or preferably with no children at all as he prefers his environment to be calm. Rescued from living under a freeway she is very sweet but is also still learning to fully trust. She is very hand shy and will be very shy at first until she bonds with you. She will take an extended amount of time to adjust to a new household but once she gets comfortable and bonds with you she LOVES pets, tolerates being held and enjoys spending time in your lap while you pet her. She naturally has a shy demeanor but offer her her daily wet food and give her treats and you’ll earn her trust. Once she knows her daily routine of wet food and treats and she has fully bonded to you she will rub in between your legs with happiness. She does great with other kitties with slow and proper introduction. She has not been introduced to dogs yet but any dog in her adopted home should only be an already cat friendly dog with a calm demeanor. She would not do well with a very active dog that is always wanting to play or chase. Because of Bunnys timidness she needs a calm household with no young children. Typical Tortie behavior she can sometimes get mouthy when over stimulated but discontinuing pets when she gets like this should traun her over time.
