Meet Ota & Rani! This adorable duo is as social and loving as they come. Both cats are happiest when surrounded by people and will gladly soak up all the pets and attention you can give. Rani is the more chatty and lively of the pair—always ready to share her opinions with little meows and bring joy with her playful spirit. Ota is just as affectionate, a sweet companion who loves curling up beside you and basking in gentle pets. Together, they make the perfect team: fun, friendly, and full of love. Ota and Rani would thrive in just about any home that can give them plenty of affection and playtime. If you’re looking for two cats who will brighten your days with purrs, snuggles, and lively personalities, Ota and Rani are ready to meet you! Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped.  This cat is currently in a foster home. Story
Meet Almaden Fluffy. Thoughtful. Secretly hilarious. Quick Look Name: Almaden Age: Teenager Size: Large! Special Traits: Extra floof, soulful eyes, and a purr that could power a small appliance Best Friend: His little sister Hilly—cuddle buddy and playmate About Almaden Looking for a cat with main character energy and a heart of gold? Meet Almaden, a giant fluffy tabby boy with gentle charm, goofy antics, and a thoughtful nature. Almaden is the kind of cat who hangs back to assess the scene before jumping in. He may not be the first to explore a new space or chase the latest toy, but once he knows it’s safe, his playful, bouncy side shines. He’s the bouncy, excited presence to his sister Hilly's quiet sweetness, and together they make the perfect team if you're interested in two cats and looking for fun, beauty, and belly flops. Personality Highlights Gentle Explorer: New things are approached with caution—but once he’s comfortable, he’s all in. Goofball at Heart: Loves a good romp, a silly chase, and a plush toy he can pretend to stalk. Fluff-Fueled Purr Machine: Will reward gentle pets with deep purrs and soft snuggles. Chill Companion: Easygoing and balanced—he brings calm wherever he goes.  Loves Playtime, once he’s warmed up Soft voices, patient people, and cozy corners His sister Hilly, even when she steals his toys A peaceful home that lets him bloom at his own pace Not a Fan Of Loud chaos or being rushed Startling movements Being without a feline buddy—he really needs a friend Ideal Home Almaden would thrive in: A calm home with another playful cat Even better—a forever home with his sister Hilly, his partner in play and naptime A person or family who’s patient, loving, and willing to let him unfold A space where he can observe first, then dive in when ready Interested? Almaden is the whole package: sweet, silly, and secretly the funniest cat in the room. He’s looking for a forever home that gets his vibe—and ideally, one that comes with Hilly by his side. Let’s schedule a meet-and-greet to see if this fluffball is the perfect fit for your heart and home. Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. This cat is currently in a foster home. To meet him, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adoptDecember 3, 2025, 8:59 pm

Story
After some introspection and deliberation, Jillie has decided that once she acclimates in a new space she is a playful cat who enjoys being pet occasionally. When you are as regal and gorgeous as she is you can live life on your terms and we admire that sort of self advocating! Jillie likes quiet, calm environments and appreciates your patience. Change and new spaces can feel overwhelming for her, so a more tranquil vibe can ease the transition. Jillie does best with one or two adults in the home, no children and as an only pet. Jillie is a lady of leisure and does not require too much of any one thing. Jillie loves to play with a feather wand toy specifically, and we learned that these interactions were great for bonding in her foster home.  If you’re looking for a unique cat who knows who she is and affirms her choices, perhaps Jillie is for you! The love, mutual understanding and loyalty you will build together is limitless. Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. This cat is currently in a foster home. To meet the cat, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
