Story
Gra is a sweet wallflower ready to bloom! Gra loves to chase and wrestle with other cats, especially those who share his energy level and love for rough-and-tumble play. His favorite toys are mice and ping pong balls, and he can keep himself entertained for hours. At feeding time, he’ll circle around your legs, eagerly awaiting his meal. While Gra is independent, he does enjoy pets and will even let you pick him up sometimes. Gra’s ideal home would be one where his new family works from home or is around often to give him time and space to acclimate. He gets along well with other cats and even calm dogs but would prefer a home without children, as loud noises and sudden movements can make him nervous. Gra is a snuggle bug with other cats and loves to sleep curled up on the human bed with his feline friends. If you’re looking for an independent yet playful cat who will be BFF with your cat(s), Gra might be the perfect match for you! Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. This cat is currently in a foster home. To meet this cat, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adoptJune 15, 2026, 4:11 pm

Story
Angus didn't have an easy road to get here, but he's making up for lost time. This handsome 5-year-old boy is believed to be a former stray who was abandoned after being socialized early in life — and that early foundation never fully left him. Within just a couple of weeks of patient, gentle care, the skittish, defensive tomcat he arrived as has given way to a sweet, affectionate guy who has truly come into his own. These days, Angus will hop up on the couch and nap right beside you, perfectly content to snooze while getting a slow pet. He'll let you pick him up and hold him against your chest while you watch TV — a pretty remarkable transformation for a former street cat who wanted nothing to do with people just weeks ago. He's also quite the conversationalist. Angus is very vocal, especially at dawn and dusk when he comes alive with opinions. During the day he prefers a quieter pace — don't try to force activity out of him or he'll let you know with a hiss — but once evening rolls around, he's alert, engaged, and ready to chat. His favorite scritches are the back and top of his head, cheeks, and chin. He came to us with a few hitchhikers — a URI, calicivirus, tapeworm, and fleas — all of which have been treated. He also had a broken canine and needed a full dental cleaning and scaling, which has been completed. He's freshly neutered and his mouth is in great shape. Angus is fully vaccinated (3-year Rabies & FVRCP), microchipped, and FIV+. What FIV+ means for Angus: FIV+ cats can live long, healthy, normal lives. The virus is not easily transmitted — it cannot be passed to humans or dogs, and poses minimal risk to other cats in a stable, non-fighting household. Angus's love language? Churu. Crunchy treats. And being brushed like the dignified gentleman he clearly believes himself to be. If you're looking for a cat with a little history and a lot of heart, Angus is ready to show you what he's got. is being cared for by a member of the community.  To arrange to meet this cat or find out more, please fill out our application here: https://www.thedancingcat.org/adopt-courtesy For more information regarding our Courtesy Posts, see www.thedancingcat.org/courtesy-postsJune 15, 2026, 4:11 pm

Spayed/neutered Microchipped Up to date on vaccines I like to watch before I join in, studying the world with wide, thoughtful eyes. It takes me a little while to feel brave, but I promise, once I know I'm safe, I'll blossom into the sweetest companion. I love soft blankets, gentle pets, and quiet company. You might find me following you from afar at first, but soon I'll be nuzzling closer, ready to share my affection. I may be cautious, but my love is pure and full of heart. Story
Taz is ready to take on life one paw at a time and is full of joy and sass while doing it! She was the runt of the litter, but took the world by storm from day one! She loves nothing more than endless wrestle matches with her siblings, and will go for hours playing with anyone or anything around before collapsing in your lap with a strong purr of contentment. She was in a foster home with a dog that she was committed to being best friends with and loves everyone she meets! And tells you about it with her adorable chirpy meow.
