Story
Kiera is an 11-year-young California girl who’s been on quite the journey—traveling across the country and now calling Virginia (and Florida!) part of her story. She loves relaxing on the patio, soaking up the fresh air, and being right in the middle of whatever her people are doing. Kiera is a true companion cat: if you’re in a room, she wants to be there too. She adores attention and affection and still has the playful spirit of a kitten despite her age. While she would do well in many homes, she will truly shine in a household where someone is around often to keep her company. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal cat who wants to share life right by your side, Kiera may be the perfect match.

Story
I found sweet Ruby in a gas station parking lot end of January. I had some cat food in the car and put it out for her. She gulped it down - and it was clear that this tiny girl was barely getting by. I made the decision that I couldn't leave her there so picked up her up (which she did NOT appreciate at the time : ) I took her to our local rescue thinking they would put her up for adoption. They did spay her and gave her shots but since she was found as a stray, they told me they were going to return her to the gas station parking lot. No way was I going to send her back to that so I took her home. She's been with us for a week and has turned into a total love bug. She's sweet, playful, and affectionate. I would absolutely keep her but we already have 2 cats and my boyfriend is allergic. But I want to give her as good of a home as I possibly can. I know she will provide years of cuddles, play, magic moments, and love.
