Story
This pet is on a WUO quarantine and not currently eligible for adoption. What the heck is a WUO? WUO stands for Wound of Unknown Origin. In Massachusetts, a domestic animal (like a dog or cat) with a wound of unknown origin (presumed to be from another animal) is generally subject to a quarantine period of FOUR MONTHS to observe for signs of rabies. During that time the pet must be kept in strict confinement and only rabies vaccinated personnel are allowed contact. We still give them love every day and enrichment to keep their brains working, they also get out of cage time to stretch their legs. Four months of care adds up- can you help? Make a donation to help here: https://www.lowellhumanesociety.org/donate/.

Meet Morgan!Morgan is a loveable and affectionate little kitty. Initially very shy when first entering the shelter but Morgan has blossomed into a wonderful cat. Morgan is ready to find a home that is patient with the introduction to the home. Morgan would do well in a home with other cats, a calm, cat savvy dog(s), and older kids. Morgan`s new year resolution is to find the best home to flourish in and make someone the happiest adopter of them all. Is Morgan the cat for you? Come down and see! Our shelter is open Tuesday-Sunday from 12-4 (closed Mondays).
