Story
Lion was a semi-socialized stray in Kansas City. We trapped, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped him in spring 2025 and brought him with us when we moved to Ohio in late July, intending for him to be an outdoor farm cat. He did not get along with our other outdoor cats, so we brought him indoors to foster and find the right home. He has made huge progress but needs a specific fit. Lion strongly bonds with women, so we are seeking a female adopter who is patient and affectionate. He has food anxiety and vocalizes around meals. He must be fed raw cat food (currently Viva, about $50/month); he vomits dry food and refuses canned food. A vet visit would be needed to transition him. He is an athletic hunter who loves feather wand toys, a cuddly lap cat who sleeps in bed, but also respects space. He should be an only cat or live with very docile cats due to dominance. You can drop him off to us when you take your big vacation. A vet relationship and ability to afford vet care.

Story
Lana del Gray waltzed into our lives on a warm summer night in the Gabe’s parking lot. She had spent a few weeks around the store and employees were feeding her. It appeared she had been dumped there by someone who could not, or did not want to take care of her anymore. She had fleas and ticks, and thankfully nothing more serious! Lana is about 3 years old, but we can’t be sure exactly! She has been fixed, and her shots are up to date. Lana enjoys cuddling and making biscuits on soft crochet blankets. In her spare time between naps, she enjoys watching birds, chasing a laser pointer, and wrestling with her friends. She gets along well with other cats, so long as she is the dominant cat! We have another dominant female in our house and Lana does not appreciate that, but she loves our non-dominant cat. She will do well in a family where she can be the top-cat or the only cat.

Story
Pete started visiting our yard a few months ago looking for food and as it got cold he started to look sad, so he became an inside cat! Now Pete is warm and fed and looking for his forever family! He has not seen a vet, but we have treated him for fleas and ticks. We think Pete was born under our neighbors porch (where the neighborhood cats hang) in the spring of 2024. He has been patrolling the neighborhood and keeping us all safe ever since. When he is not working, he loves chin scratches and firm forehead rubs. He also loved to spend time with his kitten (he has now been adopted) and he will do well in a home with other cats
