Story
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue SWEET AND QUIET Meow! My name is Muffin. My estimated date of birth is 1/01/2021. I am an affectionate fluffy girl. I enjoy being petted on the top and back of my head, and receiving long strokes all the way down my tail. I like to rub against my humans' legs. I can be held for short periods of time. I will lead my people to my favorite spots. I do not like to be brushed but will allow it if I'm being held on arm and brushed with the other. I enjoy being spoken to softly. I like to sit high up on cat trees. I am very playful and energetic. I need a family who will play with me. I love all kinds of toys, but my favorite toys are bouncy rods with feathers and bells, string wands, and automatic chaser toys. I have a special toy platypus that I love! I am love chasing things or laying on the floor, rolling around and batting at toys. I am very fast and strong. I can jump very high. I am gentle. I would prefer a quiet household. I would do best in a home as an only cat or with submissive cats. I am timid around other cats, and need my own dedicated space. I would do best with older, considerate children. I do not like dogs. I am in a foster home, but meetings with me can be easily arranged!Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Story
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meow meet Nina! Nina has already lived a lifetime of love and loss- and somehow, her heart is still wide open. She is an adult tabby with the soul of a survivor. Her owner, the person she loved most in the world, passed away. Nina was left behind, carrying the grief quietly, bravely. She was also the only survivor of her litter, a tiny warrior from the very beginning. And still...she chose gentleness.  There is a deep, unshakable loyalty in Nina. When she loves, it's not casual - its forever. She doesn't just coexist with her people; she belongs to them. Her love is fierce but soft, protective but tender, like she's guarding something sacred - because to her you are! And then there is her beauty - Nina's tabby coat is breathtaking, with warm, glowing orange swirls woven through her fur like living embers. She looks like a cat shaped by fire and survival, yet her touch is soft, her presence calming. Despite everything she has endured, Nina is incredibly gentle with humans and kind to people of all ages. There is no bitterness in her, no fear- only patience, trust, and a quiet hope that someone will choose her again. Nina has lost everything once. She knows what it means to love deeply - and to grieve deeply. What she needs now is someone who will promise her that she will never be left behind again. If you open your heart to Nina, she will guard it with her life!Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Story
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meow, meet Giselle! Giselle is the kind of cat who makes you pause. Long, flowing orange fur. Soft green eyes that hold a lifetime of feeling. A tiny, beautifully spotted nose that somehow captures her whole story. She’s absolutely lovely - but it’s her heart that stays with you.   From the very beginning, life asked her to be brave. She spent her early years in a crowded home with more than 30 other cats, learning to be gentle, quiet, and patient just to get by. When her human became ill, the only world she knew disappeared. Through all of that, Giselle never lost her tenderness. She never stopped loving.  Despite everything she is extremely affectionate, she leans into hands, melts into soft voices, and purrs like affection is something she has been saving up for the right moment. She is friendly, playful in the sweetest way, and deeply gentle- never demanding, just grateful to be close.  Giselle longs for peace. A calm home. A place where voices are soft, routines are steady, and she can finally rest without worry.  She does well with other cats, but what she truly needs is a low stress, loving environment where her sensitive heart can feel safe.  She has inflammatory bowel disease, a chronic condition that is managed through diet, but stress makes everything harder - for her body and her spirit. A quiet home wouldn’t just help her health; it would help her heal.  Giselle has spent her life giving patience to the world. Now she hoping the world will give something back - a gentle hand, a peaceful home, and the chance to finally belong!  If you open your heart to Giselle, you won’t just be adopting a cat. You’ll be giving her the ending she’s waited her whole life for!  Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted.
