Trapped as an older kitten, Hazel missed out on early human socialization—but she’s made strides at the shelter and continues to blossom at her own pace. She’s not a lap cat (and might never be), but she is the kind of cat who will light up at the sight of a laser pointer, pounce with enthusiasm on feather toys, and thrive in the company of other cats. Hazel is a true "cat's cat"—she loves to snuggle, follow, and play with her feline friends. Hazel is looking for a very special adopter: someone with patience, compassion, and a quiet home where she can continue to learn that people aren’t so scary.
