Story
Meet Lane, the silky-soft black beauty of the bunch! Lane is curious, confident, and always eager to explore whatever new adventure the day brings. She loves tackling feather toys, climbing anything she can scale, and snuggling up with her siblings — Speedbump, Court, Highway, and Drift — when it’s time to recharge. Lane’s gentle purr and bright eyes make her impossible to resist. Lane must be adopted with one of her siblings or into a home with another young, playful cat so she can continue to flourish socially and emotionally. Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! We do our best to keep bios updated as we learn more about each cat or as circumstances change. The bio is the best place to find the most current and important information about their needs, personality, and ideal home. Thank you for your interest in adopting from Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue! If this post is still up, we are still accepting applications for this cat(s)/kitten(s). There's no need to email us about availability, just submit an application if you're interested! Story
🌰 Meet Hazel – Beautiful, Bashful, and All About Her Fellow Felines Hazel is a stunning 3.5-year-old torbie with a heart that beats strongest for her fellow cats. Trapped as an older kitten, Hazel missed out on early human socialization—but she’s made strides at the shelter and continues to blossom at her own pace. She’s not a lap cat (and might never be), but she is the kind of cat who will light up at the sight of a laser pointer, pounce with enthusiasm on feather toys, and thrive in the company of other cats. Hazel is a true "cat's cat"—she loves to snuggle, follow, and play with her feline friends. Hazel is looking for a very special adopter: someone with patience, compassion, and a quiet home where she can continue to learn that people aren’t so scary. She’ll need to start off in a crate while she adjusts and will take time (and possibly treat bribes) to get comfortable. Right now, petting is reserved for mealtimes, and that may always be the case—but if you’ve got the heart to love a work-in-progress, Hazel is worth the wait. She’d do best in a home with another outgoing and confident cat who can show her the ropes and help her feel safe. With the right feline buddy and a human who understands her boundaries, Hazel has a real shot at growing into the confident cat she was meant to be. Do you have room in your heart for a shy beauty who just needs a little extra time and a lot of love? Hazel’s waiting. 💛 Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! Meet Speedbump, the sassy, speckled torti of her crew! With her medium-length fur and signature tortitude, she’s equal parts playful whirlwind and cuddle bug. Speedbump adores zooming around with her siblings — Court, Lane, Highway, and Drift — and is always the first to initiate a game of chase. When she’s done showing off her athletic moves, she melts into your arms for soft purrs and slow blinks. Speedbump must be adopted with one of her siblings or into a home with another young, playful cat so she can keep thriving with proper feline companionship. Story
Eve is a stunning cat looking for a foster or forever home. She is a 3 year old, female, Torbie mix. She has absolutely mesmerizing green eyes and a gorgeous personality to match. She’s quite the conversationalist and loves to “chat” with staff and volunteers, making her presence known with sweet commentary and expressive looks. She would adore a home where she can have a window to lay near or a cozy perch to stretch out and soak in the sun. Eve seems to tolerate some other cats, but she would likely be happiest as the queen of her castle, where she can enjoy all the attention and peace for herself. If you’re looking for a gorgeous, expressive companion who will keep you company and fill your home with quiet conversation and sunshine, Eve is your girl.  ADOPTION INFORMATION HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: 1. Story
Hello, I'm Hermey! I'm a young gentleman, about a year and a half old, and I'd like to file a formal complaint; my people moved away and left me behind, with the door open! The nerve! I stayed put like any respectable cat would, guarding my home from whatever riffraff might wander in. Eventually, a nice ACO came along and called to me kindly and convinced me it was safe to come on out. I was a bit shy at first but, once I realized I was in good hands, my sweet side showed right up. Now, I am a total love and roll over for pets and I enjoy attention. I do love hanging out with my people! If you are seeing me for a second time, I recently came back to PAC, my family loved me and loves me but their allergies were just too much. Please adopt me so I can let them know I am alright!
