Story
Meet Fred!Fred is a 5-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix who's on the smaller side and full of sweetness. He absolutely loves being pet and cuddling with his people, and he's happiest when he's soaking up affection. Fred also enjoys sniffing around the yard, exploring his surroundings, and playing with toys.Fred is a happy, friendly boy who has gotten along well with everyone he's met so far. While his life before coming to us was a bit unstable, he's shown a gentle and loving nature. Because of his past, Fred will thrive with a patient and understanding family who can help him slowly build confidence and feel safe in new situations.Fred came into care with his siblings, so a home with a friendly canine companion could be a great fit for him, as long as proper introductions are done. With time, love, and consistency, Fred is sure to blossom into a loyal and devoted family member.Do you think you could be Fred's person? Here is how to find out:1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or2.)Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.*Side note: the more you add to your application about you and what you are looking for in a canine companion, the better we can match animals with adopters!
