Meet Carrot: Carrot is a 2-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix with a gentle temperament and a lot of potential. He was originally rescued from Miami-Dade County in September of 2023, along with his 13 siblings. After being adopted, Carrot was unfortunately returned to our care due to circumstances beyond his control, and he is now ready to find a stable, loving forever home. Carrot may take a little time to feel comfortable in new environments, but once he settles in, his affectionate and playful personality shines through. He enjoys soft pets, interactive toys, and water-based activities, and he forms meaningful bonds with the people he trusts. He walks well on a leash, knows basic commands, and does well with other dogs, making him a pleasant companion both at home and on outings. Carrot would thrive in a calm, patient household that allows him to continue building confidence at his own pace. With consistency, structure, and kindness, Carrot has all the qualities to become a loyal and loving family companion. If you’re looking for a thoughtful, sweet-natured dog to grow alongside, Carrot may be an excellent match.

Story
Meet Argos — our newest arrival, and already a volunteer favorite. Argos was found on the streets of Puerto Rico and made his way to South Florida after his family realized they couldn’t keep him due to housing restrictions. Thanks to a community connection and a whole lot of teamwork, he’s now safe with us and ready to start his next chapter. Argos is about 11 months old, fully vetted (neuter coming soon!), and still settling into rescue life. Right now, his days are all about decompression, learning routines, and discovering that he’s finally somewhere he doesn’t have to worry anymore. He’s bright, curious, and soaking everything in — the good kind of “new dog energy.” January 8, 2026, 8:54 am

How does sweet Spot not have a home yet? For all you Great Dane lovers out there, meet Spot! Spot is a sweet and adorable 6 year old Great Dane that was transferred from a rescue in Central Florida this week that has closed it's doors, and is now with our rescue, Anything’s Pawsible Rescue, that's based in Miami. He is a big, fun, playful boy who weighs 68.0 lbs and is healthy, vaccinated, neutered, and yearning for his forever loving home. He's a very intuitive soul. If his person is happy, he is happy. If his person is sad, he is sad. He doesn't deserve to spend a moment of his life, sitting in boarding, waiting for someone to open up their hearts and homes to foster, and even better yet, to adopt! Story
Apollo is approximately 1 years old. An EMbark DNA test shows Apollo is Belgian Malinois/Dutch Shepherd/German Shepherd mix. Apollo is a goofy, total love bug with a good puppy energy level. He knows basic commands, walks well on a leash, and is normally neutral to other dogs. Apollo is a euthanasia survivor from Miami Dade Animal Services. #A2690586 arrived at the shelter as a stray and due to his size and energy level, he quickly made it on the euthanasia list. He was adopted into the wrong home that let him down after less than 24 hours and later rescued by a volunteer. Two months after being out of the shelter, Apollo decompressed from the stressful shelter environment. He bloomed into a well natured puppy that seeks affection and has a beautiful play style. A DNA test was done on this stunning boy that revealed a wonderful blend of working shepherd breeds: Belgian Malinois, Dutch Shepherd and German Shepherd. Apollo does not react to other dogs but also does not actively engage to play with them. He prefers human interaction but can be introduced to other dogs and coexist peacefully as long as he has his space. He is crate and potty trained and likes the water. He still has puppy energy and would do better in a home where he is not alone for long periods of time. Apollo has been in board and training for over a month and needs to continue to bloom into an active and loving family. Apollo is available for meet and greets in South Florida and has been evaluated by 2 trainers who are available to provide feedback on his personality and potentials.
