Hello- I’m Takir! I'm a big, beautiful gentleman of a dog in every sense of the word! I'm a gorgeous Anatolian Shepherd estimated at around 2 years old and last weighing in at 102lbs. I was found emaciated trying to survive on my own when I was thankfully rescued and taken to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue where I received the general and medical care I needed to be ready for a forever family. I'm as chill and laid back as can be. I have been friendly with all of the humans and dogs I've met at the rescue - proper introductions are always necessary with other dogs - please bring them to the meet and greet to make sure we get along. I like to keep my kennel clean and appear to the housebroken as long as my humans do their part on a schedule to let me out to do my business. My one lingering issue is that I did test Heartworm Positive and am undergoing the slow-kill method at the rescue and the rescue will continue providing the oral meds required to continue that treatment until I test negative which will happen in due time.My $250 adoption fee includes all of the care I've received at the rescue, vet check, up to date vaccines, heartworm test and slowkill treatment, deworming, preventatives while at the rescue, microchip and spay.If you are interested in adopting me, please complete an application at www.gofar.dog under adopt!If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. We went to the pound in June of 2025 and my son an i hit it off with Nova right away. She greeted him with a big lick on the face and she has been so good with him. We have a cat that goes inside and outside and sometimes she bugs the cat and wants to play but has never done anything to hurt him and they are left alone loose in the house together with no issues. She is kept in the house loose for long hours 10 hours and no accidents. She has some behavioral issues with the family goats and chickens. We have given her a year to get used to them but insist on trying to get them and bite at them, hasn't actually bitten anything but she wants to. We also live on a very busy road where people go 80 plus miles an hour and she has escaped and nearly 3 times almost hit by a car and i worry about her getting killed on our road. She really is a great dog unfortunately not being able to be loose because of her wanting to go under fence to goats and chickens , also with my work schedule.

Oryan is a gorgeous 2yr old boy. He’s a lover . Very affectionate and super sad he’s been in a shelter for 2yrs all because he doesn’t always get along with other dogs. His breed makes him Sometimes protective. Not always just sometimes. He also doesn’t get along with livestock as he was raised in the city limits not on a farm his first 8 months.
