Story
Meet Mercer Mercer is a big, lovable boy weighing around 85 pounds, with an expected full-grown weight of 90–95 pounds. He’s fully potty trained and has a gentle, easygoing personality. Mercer does great with kids and other dogs, and he absolutely adores cats. He currently loves licking and cuddling up with his cat siblings, so a cat-friendly home would be a great fit (depending on the cats’ personalities!).   This sweet boy is a total cuddle bug and will happily remind you that daily head kisses are required. Mercer is believed to be an Anatolian Shepherd mix and is still working on leash skills, but he’s making great progress every day.   He’s ready to find his forever family, one that will give him all the love, snuggles, and companionship he deserves. ##2504698##

This is Mia, she is Anatolian Shepherd and Lab.  She is 75 lbs of pure love!  She will be 5 years old, September 20th. Mia loves kids.  She loves to go on walks.  She is very playful. We play hide and seek, tug of war, and she doesn't fetch, but if you throw toys up, she will grab it out of the air.  She loves to cuddle. ##1508064##

Story
Meet Maximus Maximus is a big, lovable guy weighing around 70 pounds, with an expected full-grown weight of about 80 pounds. He’s an Anatolian Shepherd and Great Pyrenees mix, bringing together the best of both gentle and loyal breeds.   He is fully potty trained and does wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids. Maximus is the sweetest boy and absolutely loves loving on his people. Whether it’s cuddles on the couch or soaking up head kisses, he’s happiest right by your side. And honestly, it’s rare to catch him without that big, happy smile on his face.   Medical: Maximus was born with a genetic condition called Elbow Dysplasia. He will have surgery prior to adoption to help improve his comfort and mobility. He’ll do best with a family who understands his needs and is prepared to support him long-term, as he may be more prone to arthritis as he gets older and could require medication down the road.   This incredibly sweet boy is ready to find his forever home, one filled with love, patience, and lots of snuggles. ##2504699##

Story
Buddy was left here a few months ago. He is the sweetest dog. We want to keep him but we already have 5 dogs already. He is big and calm natured. He is so good with kids of all ages. Very laid back with the most soulful eyes. Just the best boy. He is the most amazing gentle giant. Follows us all around then just lays and watches the kids play. Truly an angel of a dog. Home with kids preferred.

Story
Meet Maisy! This beautiful girl was rescued by a small all-breed rescue in rural Texas, emaciated and late-term pregnant. They reached out to GPMR, and we brought her into rescue. Just three days later, she welcomed her puppies. Maisys puppies are now weaned, and she has been spayed. She is currently undergoing treatment for heartworms and is on the road to recovery. Maisy is now ready to find her forever home! We know Maisy is cat-friendly. She can do well with other dogs but will need an experienced owner who can provide structure, guidance, and continued training to help her thrive. Maisy is being fostered in Tulsa, OK. PLEASE NOTE: GPMR communicates primarily by email. If you have any questions regarding one of our Mastiffs, please read their bio and if you still have questions - drop us an email at GPMastiffRescue@gmail.com. We answer email inquiries daily. Story
Maggie is part of our For the Love of Mastiffs adoption special her adoption fee is waived! Meet Maggie a gentle giant with a goofy streak and a heart full of love. Maggie is an estimated 7-year-old Mastiff who ended up in an Arkansas shelter after her owner went to jail. Shortly after we rescued her and brought her to the vet, we discovered she was suffering from a life-threatening uterine infection called pyometra. Thankfully, she got the emergency care she needed just in time and was immediately spayed. She was also severely underweight when she arrived, but after lots of TLC, shes now healthy and thriving at 130 pounds. Maggie is also heartworm positive and will continue needing support as she heals from years of neglect but despite everything shes been through, she remains incredibly sweet, gentle, and well-mannered. Her foster says Maggie is one of the easiest dogs to have around. She absolutely LOVES fruits and veggies so much so that shell choose them over a hot dog! Weve never met a dog so committed to healthy eating. She also has a hilarious habit of stealing her foster brothers toys to proudly parade them around before losing interest completely. Her favorite toy is her tug rope. When she gets ahold of it, she becomes a full-on dramatic wrestling champion growling, tossing it around, and having the absolute best time. Its impossible not to laugh watching her play. Maggie has been dog-tested and has done well with some dogs but not others, so we recommend a home where she can be the only dog. She does well with the cats in her foster home. This sweet girl deserves a soft place to land after everything shes endured. Maggie is currently being fostered in Amarillo and is ready to find a family who will love her for the rest of her days. PLEASE NOTE: GPMR communicates primarily by email. If you have any questions regarding one of our Mastiffs, please read their bio and if you still have questions - drop us an email at GPMastiffRescue@gmail.com. We answer email inquiries daily.
