Story
Shep is a stunning 75-lb Anatolian Shepherd just under a year old who is still learning about the world around him. He’s a shy, sensitive boy who is discovering that humans can be kind and trustworthy. Shep is dog friendly, is curious about cats and has passed his on-leash cat test. Because he is still gaining confidence and learning how to navigate new environments, an adult-only home is preferred where things can move at his pace. He is still building confidence on leash. Shep has tremendous potential and would thrive with a calm, confident adopter who has experience working with shy or undersocialized dogs and understands guardian breeds. Shep is neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped, and ready for the right person to help him continue to grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. If you’re experienced, patient, and looking for a dog you can help blossom, Shep could be the perfect match.

Story
Ben is a big, handsome 90-lb Anatolian Shepherd mix who is about 1 year old and still learning about the world around him. He came to us under-socialized, but every day he’s discovering that humans can be kind, patient, and safe — and he is starting to come around. Ben is shy with people at first and will need time, consistency, and confidence from his future adopter. He’s still learning the basics, including how to walk on leash, so a home with training experience (or a strong commitment to continued training) is a must. The good news? Ben shows progress when given guidance and wants to learn. He is dog friendly and would likely benefit from a confident canine companion. Ben would thrive with an adopter who understands large guardian breeds and enjoys the outdoors. With trust and structure, he has the potential to become both a wonderful outdoor companion and, in time, a calm indoor family member. Our professional trainer has evaluated Ben and truly believes in his potential. With the right home and continued support, Ben can blossom into a loyal and incredible dog — he just needs an adopter equipped to help him get there. Ben is neutered, heartworm negative, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, and ready for the right person to help him write his next chapter.

Story
Bonnie is an 85-lb, 2-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix who is truly as sweet as they come. Though we don’t know much about her past, we do know that Bonnie is a mama dog who craves affection and closeness with her humans. She has so much love to give and is eager to finally experience what it means to be cherished. Bonnie is incredibly affectionate and would make a wonderful family companion. She enjoys human attention and thrives on love and reassurance. While she isn’t fully comfortable on a leash just yet, she is learning and should catch on quickly with consistency and patience. Because Bonnie appears to have grown up in a survival-based environment, she is still learning that life can be soft and safe. She is not a good fit for a home with small dogs, as her prey drive is present, but she has so much potential in the right setting. Bonnie is spayed, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped, and ready to start a new chapter with a family who will show her the love she’s been missing.

Story
Meet Bella! If you were to look up the word perfection in the dictionary I’m fairly certain you would see her picture next to it. She gets along with everyone. Human, dog, cat you name it, she can coexist with it. She LOVES to be pet, if your hand is resting on the armrest or hanging off the bed you might find her gently nuzzling her way under your hand and pushing her head back and forth to initiate the pats that every good doggy desires.  She can be a little quirky sometimes, for some reason if she isn’t laying next to you on the sofa or trying to con you out of some love, her next favorite place to hang out is in a good closet. She’s kennel trained, and house trained and we are working on being good on the leash. She just gets excited and pulls, but who can blame her. ‍  Bella is available to adopt through CARE - Compassionate Animal Rescue Efforts and would make the perfect addition to any loving home. ##2634532##

Story
Hello. My name is Apollo. Here is a little bit about me. I like most other dogs. Kids are my bestie's. I know basic manners, and I am potty trained. I get the zoomies after my morning coffee. My only issue is .... I'm ugly 😭 Or at least my skin is. I got to see the dog doctor and he gave me some medicine. They say that I might have to take it for the rest of my life. I think I could deal with that, as long as I'm not itchy anymore. I really hope it works fast. I'm tired of scratching and hurting. I want to be handsome again.... 🥺 So....If you can see past my flaws, please come and adopt me! I would like to go home with you! PAAS-Vinita 918-256-7227 628 S. Wilson St. Vinita, OK 74301
