Story
Toast is a little over a year old he is a sweet loving dog. He has been with me about a year. I moved away to go to college and he is not doing well in my apartment. I am a full-time college student and I work 12 hour shift as a 911 dispatcher. I just don't have the time that Toast truly needs. I have tried dog walker's and pet sitter but it is getting too expensive and I feel that I am not able to give Toast the time he needs. Toast listen very well and can be both outdoor/indoor. He loves to play, run.

Story
Hi there, I'm Manny. I'm a 1-year-old Anatolian Shepherd Mix, and I weigh a solid 62lbs. Life has been quite an adventure for me, and I'm ready to find my forever family! First things first, I'm a good boy when it comes to training. I've got the hang of crate and potty training, and I'm even acing basic commands like sit, stay, and leash manners. It's been a lot of work, but I'm eager to please my humans. I absolutely love playing with both male and female dogs, although I haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. When it comes to treats, I've mastered the art of taking them with the utmost care. No need to worry about my manners there! And guess what? I'm heartworm negative and all up-to-date on my shots, so I'm healthy and ready to join your family. I'm an active guy, so I'd do best in a home with a fenced backyard where I can run and play. Apartment living isn't really my thing, but I'd thrive in a family environment, especially if there are kids to play with! Car rides are a blast for me, and I promise I won't be a backseat driver. Plus, I'm not at all aggressive when it comes to toys. So, if you're looking for a loyal, well-trained, and adaptable furry friend, I'm your Manny. Apply to adopt Manny at bigloverescue.org. Story
Dozer is an Anatolian Shepard/Hound mix, 3 years old, neutered and up to date on all his shots. We adopted from the local Humane Society Shelter in Dec '21. He is super sweet and loves to greet new people at the dog park. He gets along great with our Beagle/Hound mix (seen in photos, also nearly 3), but has become aggressive with our 6 year old lab after having them together for 2 years -- he may need to be an only dog, or be homed with similar aged pups that he won't feel the need to challenge. He loves to sleep in the bed with us curled up near our feet, love head scritches, and butt scratches. He will chase a ball, and even brings it back pretty regularly, but really seems to enjoy chewer toys with natural components such as hooves, horns, etc. He has a harness and lead, and for the most part does well on leash unless something (squirrel!) catches his eye. He is good with Sit, knows his name (can be a bit stubborn), and have been working on lay down and making progress.

Story
Big Guy is a gentle giant! He is very sweet and loves being petted and being close to you. He is crate trained and house broken. He walks well on a leash. Loves to sit on the back porch steps and watch the world go by. Big Guy plays well with the dog he was found with and with my other fosters dogs. He loves to run. He is nervous when he hears thunder or fire works.  So some cuddling time would help here. He has not shown any aggression tendencies and minds well. Big Guy is a real sweetheart and always ready to play.  He is looking for his own wonderful family to take him home.March 27, 2024, 1:37 am

Story
Kiko is a fun loving, goofy and playful dog. He is young but, past the destructive puppy faze. Kiko came to the shelter with his brother Albert when they were just under a year old. They have been model citizens. Kiko deserves a loving home where he is allowed to relax on the couch (something he is very good at) with unlimited toys and snacks. Kiko also loves to play in the water. Apply to meet him today. ##1560545##
