Story
More info on the sisters! Born Nov 22, 2022. Fully vetted. Stella is more golden in color and Miss Fluff is more fluffy coated w darker color. Stella and Miss Fluff are beautiful and smart Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mixes. Both girls are spayed and UTD on vaccinations. These girls came from a place where they didn't have much human contact and were semi-feral when I rescued them March 2024. They have both come a LONG way since then, but there are still things that they've never experienced, so we're working on socializing them on as many things as we can and whoever adopts them will need to as well. They're doing well overcoming their fears and with continued socialization and positive training, they'll be great companions for the right families. Right now, they’re like big puppies experiencing new things. The girls have been together their whole lives, but they can be adopted to separate families Stella is a friendly, open and smart girl who is learning all about life in a short period of time. She's come from a shut down, almost feral dog to liking people and trusting them more and more in a short time. She's doing great at obedience and will sit, down, wait and touch on cue and she pays nice attention to you when she's with you. She wants to please and works for both treats and praise. Stella is great on leash and loves long walks. She loves water and is learning how to play with toys. Once she trusts you, she loves getting hugs and kisses! While she does still get scared about new things, she's working her way through those things quickly now. Stella would do great in a home where she can be part of the family, preferably an active one. She'd do great as a running companion. She likes children but a home with kids over 10 is probably best. Stella has never lived in a house, so she would need to be contained for times when you can't be with her as she might chew. She is not a dog that you can just leave out in a yard. She will dig or jump her way out. Stella likes male dogs more than female, but has always lived with her sister, so a female friend isn't out of the question. She has seen cats but never been with them but has never shown any aggression towards one. Stella has never been tested on livestock, so while she is an LGD, she would need to be trained to do the job and we don't know if she has the natural instinct needed for the job. If Stella is adopted within the Canyon Lake area, she will come with free training to help her adjust to her new life. Miss Fluff is a very smart and independent girl who is learning to trust people and has come a long way in a few short months. She is learning obedience, but she isn't at the level her sister is as she isn't as food/praise motivated. Miss Fluff isn't a fearful dog. She meets new challenges easily, but she needs someone who will take the lead and show her the best way to handle things instead of her choosing how to react. Miss Fluff is friendly but will always be a bit more aloof and protective than her sister Stella and is more like an Anatolian in temperament. Miss Fluff loves water and is learning how to play with toys. She is learning obedience and she's excellent on leashed walks. She wants to be a partner to someone more than a baby, if that makes sense. Miss Fluff has never been tested on livestock, but she has more natural ability. A working home would be considered if you are committed to training her to do the job, preferably with another trained LGD to help her. Miss Fluff is good with most dogs with the proper introduction, but she has not been tested on cats yet, she has been near cats w no reactive issues. She would do best in a calm home with adults that will reward positive behavior. She would need to be contained when you're not able to watch her until you can trust her not to chew things or try to escape. Like Stella, she is not a dog you can just leave in a yard. She's good at finding weaknesses in fencing and will try to escape, until they feel safe with you. She comes back, but she enjoys the challenge! Miss Fluff is a dog that if you spend the time for her to trust you, train her positively and push her slow but steady, she will end up being an amazing partner for the right person. Story
Penny is up for adoption! Penny is an adorable 4 month old puppy. Her mama, Grace a mix of Pit/Great Dane/Boxer has passed down her gentle and loving nature to Penny. She has a slight black tip on her tail and white socks on her feet which distinguishes her from her siblings. While we don’t know who dad was, we anticipate Penny and her siblings will grow into medium to large-sized dogs. Born in our care, Penny has been surrounded by love and attention from the very beginning. She’s playful and full of puppy charm, ready to bring joy and laughter to her forever home. Penny is very curious and likes to explore new spaces. She LOVES people, grownups and kids alike. She lives in a foster home with 2 cats and respects their space although she’d really like to play with them! Penny is very social as she gets really excited to meet anyone who comes her way. She’s had several slumber parties with other fosters and their dogs, spent time playing at the dog park, and has gotten along very well with all the dogs she’s met. Penny loves going out for walks and will sit on command while waiting to get leashed. Playing fetch with tennis balls is her favorite game. While very independent, Penny likes snuggling for a nap and longs to be with her humans getting all the attention she can. She sleeps in a crate during the day in her foster home and is 95% potty trained. With frequent potty breaks during the day, she rarely has accidents in the house. She also enjoys being outside in the sunshine and helping to pick up sticks in the y To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Breaker is up for adoption in TX, NE and PNW (excluding MA)! This 5-month-old Great Dane/Boxer mix is a playful, water-loving pup with a big heart and an even bigger personality. Breaker is happiest when he's splashing around in the water, chasing toys, or romping around the yard. With the goofy energy of a Boxer and the gentle nature of a Dane, he’s the perfect mix of fun and affection. He’s great with other dogs, loves being around people, and is always up for an adventure, especially if it involves a swim. Breaker is doing well with crate training and learning his puppy manners, especially when treats are involved. He’d thrive in an active home with space to play and maybe even a doggy sibling to share his adventures with. If you're looking for a loyal, silly, and splash-happy companion, Breaker is your guy!
