Story
Meet Ben!Ben is a very handsome charcoal-and-tan Belgian Malinois with a softer side than you might expect from this confident, working breed. While Malinois are often bold and intense, Ben is a bit more sensitive and looks to his people for reassurance. He has a truly sweet and friendly personality and enjoys staying close to those he trusts. When he feels unsure, Ben may jump up to seek comfort, showing just how much he values connection and guidance from his humans.Ben would do well in a patient, understanding home that can help build his confidence through positive reinforcement, structure, and plenty of encouragement. With the right support, he’s sure to blossom into a loyal, devoted companion. If you’re looking for a kind-hearted Malinois who wants to be your shadow and your best friend, Ben may be the perfect fit. This pet is available for adoption on 12/30/2025 3:14 PM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. Story
Meet Chance!Chance came to our adoption center with a limp, but he’s recovering well and feeling better every day. He’s a mature, sweet boy with an easygoing personality—truly a “go with the flow” kind of dog. Chance walks nicely on leash, loves treats, and is happy just hanging out with his people. He’s done great spending time in the manager’s office, showing us that he’s calm, well-mannered, and comfortable relaxing in a quiet space. Chance is what we’d call a pretty casual dude. One thing that really tugs at our hearts—Chance doesn’t seem to know about the finer things in life yet, like cozy dog beds or soft blankets. It’s clear he hasn’t had many comforts before, and we would love nothing more than to see him go to a home that can show him just how amazing life can be.Chance is ready for a loving home, a comfy bed, and someone who will give him the care and kindness he’s been missing. Could that be you? This pet is available for adoption on 12/19/25 at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
