Story
Step aside, folks, Iggy FKA Macadamia is here to steal the show! This playful pup is a staff favorite, and it's easy to see why. Iggy is a friendly, gentle soul who loves nothing more than to frolic and explore. With a personality as unique as her name, she's sure to keep you on your toes and bring a smile to your face. Iggy may be selective with her doggie friends at the shelter but she has been doing great on her walks with staff (she is a favorite among our dog walkers!) and doesn't have any reactions to other dogs, people, cars, or Amish buggies. Iggy keeps her kennel clean and enjoys her toys and her pool!Iggy cannot live with small dogs, cats, or other small furry pets. Iggy takes her time getting to know new people; slow greetings are what work best for her. Apartment life is not for her, she needs more room to stretch her legs and watch over her domain! Once you are Iggy's buddy she is funny, affectionate, silly and playful!! If you're looking for a fun-loving companion to join your adventures, Iggy is the dog for you. Come on down and meet this one-of-a-kind girl today!"I come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle me into your home. He is such a sweet boy all around! With a heart as big as his size, over 100lbs!, Journey is searching for a quiet home with adults who can give him the love and attention he deserves. Story
Hi, I'm Otto Ray! I am a 4-year-old male great dane. I am current on my vaccines, heartworm tested, microchipped, and soon to be neutered. 3 words that describe me: Shy, Friendly, Quiet Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: I am the father of Aries Keith and Loki Lyle and come from the same household. I have been very nervous since arriving at CRHS, but I get a little better each day. Despite being very scared I have been tolerant about all kinds of handling. I will need someone who is willing to take things slow with me so I can get comfortable with them. Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 4/10 Housetraining Status: I am housetrained, however it may take me some time to adjust to the schedule in my new home. I should do well in a home: Due to my extremely nervous temperament any children in my potential home will need to be 10 years or older. I am required to meet any dogs in my potential home. I lived with a cat in my previous home and I just left her alone. My favorite activities are: Relaxing in a calm environment and getting affection from trusted people. Things I need work on are: I could use some work building my confidence. I also tend to pull when walking on leash. Lastly I am very skinny and am currently working on gaining more weight. Any special needs: N/A Doggy day out notes: N/A Daycare Status: N/A My adoption fee is: $300 Training Requirement if applicable: N/A *If you are interested in adopting, please start by filling out an application available on our website and email it to us. https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal
