Bubbie is the kind of dog that bonds deeply with his person. Not in a chaotic or demanding way—he just genuinely wants to be near the people he loves and be part of their life. Bubbie is a young white shepherd mix with the tall frame of a German Shepherd but a much leaner, lighter build. He’s athletic, affectionate, and very emotionally connected to his humans. He was previously adopted and returned because he became very attached to his adopter. For the right person, though, that’s not a flaw—it’s exactly what makes him special. He’s the kind of dog who forms real relationships. Bubbie is also great with other dogs and with cats, making him an easy fit for many multi-pet households. He enjoys companionship and settles in well around other animals. What stands out most about him is his heart. He’s sensitive, loyal, and happiest when he feels connected to his people. Good fit: someone wanting a deeply loyal companion and who appreciates a dog that forms strong emotional bonds. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. A committed home is required for him to make the trip, and we’re hoping the right person will step up for him. Meet Sawyer Sawyer is a 2-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix who came into the shelter as a stray and is ready for a second chance. At around 65 pounds, he may be a big boy, but he’s truly just a puppy at heart. This sweet, silly guy has a goofy personality that’s sure to make you smile. He loves to play, be around people, and soak up attention whenever he can. Sawyer doesn’t have a mean bone in his body and has shown himself to be friendly, gentle, and easygoing with everyone he meets. He gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion to romp around with, but he’d also be happy as your one-and-only best friend. Sawyer has not been tested with cats yet. Sawyer tested positive for heartworm when he got to the shelter, and is currently undergoing treatment. He will be all finished with treatment in time for transport. This is Snowtoes, she is one as of April 18th. I am looking to rehome her because, I got her to be a working dog. But the winds of life have changed direction and I will no longer be raising sheep. I would like her to go to a working home if possible. I also prematurely got her as I do not have the necessary fencing for her to stay on the property. She currently resides at a country home that has horses, cows, and chickens. *She is not ready to be left alone with livestock, she chases chickens and cats if they run, it is what Lgd's do until their guardian instinct kicks in (around age 2). So she is half way there. She does not know her size around small children. And must be leased when they are around or playing. She is up to date on all her shots and I plan on getting her spayed before she leaves. She likes long walks but pulls really hard, she is crate trained, and an indoor/outdoor dog. She loves raw bones, playing tug of war and fetch, but she doesn't bring the ball back.
