EDMONTON, AB - Vito is a seven-year-old standard poodle who was loved deeply by his first family. In April 2023, Vito was diagnosed with Addison’s Disease, which is a condition relatively common in standard poodles and allows a dog to live a full and happy life when managed correctly. However, when the financial responsibility of his care became more than the family could manage at the time, they made the heartbreaking decision to reach out to SPIN for help. They described Vito as a well-mannered, gentle boy, and everything his foster family has observed since confirms exactly that.

EDMONTON, AB - Eva is a sweet and gentle three-year-old poodle who came to SPIN through no fault of her own. She was purchased from a breeder in British Columbia and spent her early years in a loving home, but when her family's circumstances shifted — more demanding work hours, an upcoming move — they came to the difficult realization that they could no longer give Eva the time, attention, and energy she deserves. So they reached out to SPIN, and we, of course, said yes. Since April 2026, she has been living with a wonderful foster family in Alberta who have been showing her all the love and patience she deserves.

HI, I’m Tova Tobasco About me: I am an easy going and friendly girl who loves both people and other furry friends. I absolutely LOVE going for walks but do need some patience when I approach other dogs. If they come to close I can be a little mouthy but that’s because I am so short, my voice is all I’ve got to protect me! I walk great with my foster brother and am ready to be your new walking pal! If we aren’t walking, I love to just lounge in the yard! I am a great snuggle buddy and sleep through the night. I am house trained and quiet. I love car rides and just being with my people as much as I can . My foster mom says any family would be so lucky to have me. Likes: being outside, going for walks, car rides Dislikes: being alone, loud noises, sometimes other dogs on leashes Special request: I will need regular grooming and someone to help me with leash reactivity when necessary Kennel trained: working on it House trained: yesDogs: yesCats: unsure but most likely ok! Children: unsure but my foster mom thinks so!
