Story
Katie is a fully vetted, 1-2 yrs old doodle, who is very sweet!! She does ok with other dogs, though sometimes she gets a little overbearing when playing with them, and causes her to become "alpha", so we are hoping to find her a home where she can be the only dog, getting all the love! Katie loves the water, walks well on a leash, loves to ride in the car, great with children, and her temperament with people is very loving. If interested in adopting, please fill out our adoption application online: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org.

Story
Meet Freddie our sweet one year old poodle mix. He weighs 15 pounds full grown. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all his vaccines. The vet sent him home with a clean bill of health and is now ready to find a home all his own. He is house trained and goes outside to do his business every couple hours when needed. Inside the home, he's pretty independent and keeps to himself unless you're calling him over for some love and attention. He's not the type to demand affection, but he absolutely soaks it up when it's offered. He is still getting the hang of walking on a leash and building confidence as his previous life as a breeder dog didn't include many outings, so everything is still a little unfamiliar to him but he's making steady progress. He enjoys spending quiet time out in the yard and will happily hang out on his own, especially if he's not quite ready to come inside. He's a bit of a hide and seek pro when he wants to be. Every day he gets a little braver, a little more curious, and a little more confident. He currently sleeps in his crate peacefully at night but I'm sure he would love his own bed next to yours if you prefer. He sleeps soundly through the night and settles in easily when you need to step out. What he needs now is someone with patients and a gentle heart, someone who understands that love and trust take time to grow. He'd thrive in a calm, nurturing home where he can continue building confidence at his own pace. His adoption fee is $1500 which covers all vet costs, care and training since the time he's been with us. Get in touch with us today and share details about yourself, the loving home you can provide, and your experience with the breed. Located in Hesperia CA. We offer transportation to you so long as it's covered by the adopter. We will be in contact with you shortly. Thank you!

If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children, and we do not know how they will react. Please do not waste your time or ours if you are not prepared to adopt within 2 weeks and you are not willing to pick the dog up at its location. Hi! My name is Marcus, and I am a little Toy Poodle boy who was born 4/13/21, and I weigh 8 pounds. I am a bit timid with this big new world so a sibling to teach me the ropes would be ideal.  If you have been waiting for a little Poodle boy, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org.
