Story
Meet Freddie, a one-year-old Cocker Spaniel-Poodle (cockapoo) mix with a heart full of love and a desire to finally experience the world. Freddie’s life before coming to our rescue was much different from what most dogs experience. He was born into a breeding operation and spent the first year of his life with very little exposure to people outside of his home. Because of this, he didn’t get the socialization he needed as a puppy, making new experiences feel overwhelming at times. When the breeder no longer needed him, they decided to surrender him, and that’s when his journey toward a better life truly began. Since arriving at our rescue, we’ve been working closely with Freddie to help him build confidence and learn to trust new people. He is naturally sweet and affectionate, but his lack of early socialization means he is still adjusting to the world around him. When excited or wanting attention, Freddie will often bark. It’s his way of expressing himself and making sure he’s noticed! While it’s something we’ve been working on, he will need a patient adopter willing to continue his training and provide the structure he needs to thrive. Freddie is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines, so he’s fully ready to find his forever home.He also had a groom and enjoyed his spa day. He does get a bit car sick on car rides but tries to enjoy them on his plush bed. He is also crate-trained and sleeps peacefully in his crate at night. Throughout the day, he enjoys napping in his plush bed inside his crate, making it his own little safe space. He is house-trained as well, following a strict schedule here with us and hasn’t had any accidents in our home. Maintaining a routine will be key to his continued success in his new environment. He would do best in a home with someone who has the time and dedication to continue working with him, offering him the love, patience, and reassurance he craves. He loves one on one time whether outside playing fetch or just cuddling on the couch watching a good movie. Despite his past, he’s a resilient, loving boy who just wants to be part of a family. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate dog who needs a little extra love to blossom, Freddie could be the perfect fit. With the right home, he will continue to grow into the amazing companion we know he can be. If you’re interested in giving him the second chance he deserves, submit an adoption application today! We have a transport leaving for Colorado Springs, CO/Flagstaff, AZ at the end of April/May and would love to include him for the right home❤️🐾 Located in Hesperia, CA. We offer out-of-state adoptions and can arrange transportation to your location, provided that the transport expenses are covered. The adoption fee for this adorable pup is $1500, which includes all veterinary costs, comprehensive care during his time with us, and ongoing training until he finds his forever home. Story
Meet Yuki! Yuki is the kind of dog who brings warmth and joy wherever he goes. He is a 6-month-old Bichon Maltese mix weighing in at 10lbs. He is a little bundle of happiness with a soft, snow-colored coat and the sweetest, colored eyes. His name means “snow” in Japanese, and like a fresh snowfall, he makes everything feel a little brighter. At night, he settles into his crate without a fuss, sleeping soundly until morning but he will enjoy sleeping in a bed beside yours if you prefer🥰 During the day, he follows a routine, heading outside for potty breaks and doing an excellent job sticking to the schedule. We have introduced the leash to him although it is still fairly new, he seems to be excited for walks outside. He’s eager to learn and finds comfort in structure, but he’s also incredibly easygoing, rolling with whatever the day brings. Yuki gets along with dogs of all sizes, greeting everyone with a wag and a gentle curiosity. He loves sunbathing, stretching out by the pool like a tiny prince enjoying his kingdom. He loves to run around and play with his favorite toys or being chased and chasing his playmates. When the sun sets, he’s just as happy curling up on your warm lap, watching a movie with his toys and plush blanket. Car rides bring out his goofy side. He sits in his dog seat, determined to reach his little nose out the window. Even though he’s small, he gives it his best shot, ears flopping in the wind as he takes in the world around him. He also handled his first grooming appointment like a champ, making it clear that he enjoys a little pampering. Yuki is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. We’ve also sent out a fecal sample for testing to be sure he is healthy prior to leaving us. UPDATE: It was negative (: For now, he’s waiting. Waiting for the person who will scoop him up, hold him close, and make him theirs forever. Located in Hesperia, CA. We offer out-of-state adoptions and can arrange transportation to your location, provided that the transport expenses are covered. We have a transport leaving for Flagstaff AZ/ CO Springs end of May/June and would love to include him on the trip for the right home ❤️🐾 Get in touch with us today and share details about yourself, the loving home you can provide, and your experience with the breed. Story
Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Biography Important Information Please read! If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children, and we do not know how they will react. Please do not waste your time or ours if you are not prepared to adopt within 2 weeks and you are not willing to pick the dog up at its location. Hi! My name is Shila, and I am an adorable, sweet Cockapoo girl who was born 3/11/20, and I weigh 10 pounds. I am very social and get along well with other dogs. I do have chronic dry eye so will need daily medication..  If you have been waiting for a beautiful Cockapoo, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org.
