We met her through a clinic after her previous owner realized Penelope’s high-octane energy wasn't the right match for their older son on the spectrum. Now, this athletic girl is looking for her true "forever" home! ​Her Vibe: Penelope is a "work hard, play hard" girl. While she isn't a frisbee fan, she is a fetch pro and lives to learn new tricks! Though she had a hip injury in her first home and has slight hip dysplasia, it doesn't slow her down—she’s a resilient girl ready for adventure. ​The Ideal Match: ​Mature Home: Penelope needs a toddler-free environment. She thrives with older kids or adults. ​One-and-Only: She prefers to be your only pet. ​Company: She has separation anxiety and needs a 6–7 hour limit alone (up to 8.5 only if well-exercised). ​If you have a fenced yard and love "velcro dogs," Penelope is your girl. She’s healthy, up-to-date on care, and ready to be your shadow!

Meet Ziggy! This handsome guy is a 5 month old doodle mix. He is super friendly, food motivated, crate and leash trained. He loves just about everyone and everything he meets. He loves to snuggle and wants to be with you at all times. He never turns down a good belly rub. He loves to play and is full of puppy energy. He would make a great addition to a family with an active lifestyle! He is currently located down South at our sister shelters and available for pre-adoption. We do transports to NJ once a month.
