Meet Buddy! Buddy is a 10-year-old, 55-pound Aussiedoodle who truly lives up to his name — he’s everyone’s best friend! Buddy came to us after his beloved owner moved into assisted living and could no longer care for him. He had been deeply loved by his family since puppyhood and is now looking for a new home to share his big heart with. This handsome boy is social, affectionate, and just an all-around great dog. He enjoys meeting new people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats. Buddy is potty trained and knows several commands including sit, stay, come, no, off, and drop it. He hasn’t needed to use a crate in his foster home — he’s a well-mannered gentleman! Buddy would thrive in a home with a large, securely fenced yard where he can run, play ball, and enjoy the outdoors. If you’re looking for a loyal, social companion who’s the total package, look no further — Buddy might just be your perfect match! He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and is on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $200. Please follow the link below for his adoption application. Meet Rachel! She’s the sweetest curly haired cutie! This two year old Doodle came in with her bestie Monica, and even with all the recent changes in her life, she is still a happy go lucky girl who greets every person with a scruffy smile and a wiggly booty.Rachel loves everyone, including; kids, adults, and other dogs, and while she has not met a cat, we are pretty sure she would want to be their friend too. She is affectionate, goofy, and full of joy, with one little quirk. Rachel is a total Houdini. She can scale fences, dig under them, and has no respect for electric fencing, so she will need a family committed to keeping her safe and secure. She does pretty well on leash but could use some extra practice.Other than her escape artist tendencies, Rachel is truly perfection and would make an amazing addition to so many families. If you are looking for a bright, cuddly, silly little ray of sunshine, Rachel is your girl.**Spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention**

Meet Monica, the resident diva of FDHS and proud bestie of Rachel (also available). Monica was recently surrendered and has been settling in here at the fast-paced shelter. While she's still new, her previous owner did fill us in on a few things. When Monica chooses you as her person, consider yourself blessed. Her loyalty runs deep, but she prefers to take her time warming up to new faces. Monica is particular about her dog friends and tends to vibe best with more submissive pups. She is not a good match for homes with cats or small children. This girl has impeccable manners, is used to regular grooming, rides beautifully in the car, and keeps her kennel spotless. She does pretty well on leash too.Of course, even the best of girls have flaws. Monica is an escape artist with a passion for solo adventures. She can scale fences, dig under them, and will power through electric fencing without hesitation. She requires very close supervision outdoors to keep her safe and sound.Aside from her adventurous streak, Monica is a total lady. Elegant, devoted, and full of love. She will be a fantastic and loyal companion.**Spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention**
