Story
Ronnie / Male / 3.75kg / 6 weeks / Mixed Breed (Medium-Large when full grown) / Local intake / Fostered in Ajax Meet Ronnie! Ronnie is one of nine puppies born on September 5, 2026. He and his siblings are being posted for adoption at approximately 6 weeks old but will not be available to go home until they are 8 weeks old. About Ronnie's Litter: • The litter consists of 6 males and 3 females. • The puppies were born on September 5, 2026. • Their family found themselves with an unexpected litter of nine and reached out to Fetch + Releash for help with their long-term care, vetting and placement. • The puppies remained with their mom while nursing and growing. • The puppies were surrendered to us as Lab/Aussiedoodle mixes, but we cannot confirm their breed and do not want to represent that as definite. At this age, it can also be very difficult to accurately determine breed based on appearance alone. For now, we are considering them mixed-breed puppies and will be looking for homes based on each puppy's individual personality and needs rather than an assumed breed mix. • Ronnie will not be available to go home until he is 8 weeks old. • Ronnie is not neutered due to his age. His adopter must agree to have him neutered within 6 months of adoption. If completed at our partner vet in Mississauga, the procedure is included in the adoption fee. If you choose to have it completed elsewhere, it will be at your own cost. Proof of neuter is required as part of the adoption agreement. • Ronnie will be up-to-date on vaccines appropriate for his age. Fetch + Releash will cover the cost of the entire puppy booster series provided it is completed at our partner vet in Mississauga. If you choose to finish the vaccine series with your own vet, proof of vaccination will be required. About YOU! Puppies are a lot of work. At just 8 weeks old, we are looking for families with FLEXIBLE work schedules and the time and energy to invest in socialization and training. Yes, they are tiny and oh-so-cute, but we can pretty much guarantee that they will: • Pee and poop on your floor • Chew your furniture • Eat your designer handbag • Ruin your leisurely Sunday morning sleep-in As a condition of the adoption contract, Ronnie's new family will be required to: • Ensure he has an opportunity to go outside every 2-3 hours. If you work full-time, this means hiring a dog walker to come in 2x per day for a puppy visit. • Attend and complete a basic obedience class at your own cost. Proof is required. • Provide plenty of socialization opportunities, both dog and human. It's critically important at this stage. If you're interested in adopting Ronnie, please apply at https://www.fetchandreleash.ca/adoption-info#adoption-form Ronnie's adoption fee is $1000. To learn more about our adoption fees and the adoption process, please visit our FAQs at https://www.fetchandreleash.ca/about-us#about-faqs. 🐾 PUPPY PICKUP INFORMATION – NOVEMBER 4TH 🐾 The puppies will be attending their 8-week veterinary appointments on Wednesday, November 4th, at our veterinary partner in Mississauga.
