Story
Please read the entire bio for this rescue, it will provide all the information that one needs to decide if they would like to apply to adopt from SCMR.Aramis Adoption fee:  $200.00   All for one and one for all! Aramis is ready to have a family to join and give you all his devotion. This sweet poodle came from a shelter in Alabama. He was a stray and so there is no information about his background. Suffice it to say it was probably dismal since he was just terrified to begin with. But love and patience go a long way with this boy. He has learned he is safe in Rescue and can relax. He arrived at around 15 pounds and gained a little weight and is probably 17 pounds now. We figure he's around 10+ years old...hard to say. He only had his eye teeth and they stuck out like Tusks. But he lost them in his dental. He needed stitches to prevent fistulas, so he has been getting his food softened. But he's just happy to have his food! He needs to be fed separately from any others. He's not food aggressive but he does growl if someone gets too close to his bowl while he is eating. So we want to reduce his stress. He loves to get his chest rubbed! And he likes to stretch out next to you on the sofa. Every now and then he wanted to get up on the bed to sleep with his foster mom and was good as gold all night. He's well house trained but will need your patience as he acclimates to a new environment. And he's good about grooming till you get to his face. He's not sure about having his face shaved! But we got through it. If you have room for your own Musketeer, Aramis is ready to join up! He's being fostered in Wilmington, NC just waiting for his big chance!   Adoption fee: $200.00 Out-of-state adoptions are possible; however, the approved adoptive home is responsible for making the necessary arrangements to pick up their new little one.   To be considered to adopt me, please fill out an APPLICATION.   NOTE: SCMR DOES NOT adopt to homes with children under the age of 10 years or homes with Electric Fences. You can help make a difference one dog at a time. If you would like to sponsor one of our babies, we accept online donations via PayPal or send a check to us at P.O. Box 2005, Chattanooga, TN 37409.
