Meet Charlie – A Gentle Soul Looking for His Safe Place (currently in foster care) Charlie is a 2.5-year-old, 30 lb Mini Aussie Doodle with a tender heart and a quiet spirit. He’s searching for a patient, understanding adopter who will give him the time and consistency he needs to feel safe and truly at home. Charlie walks well on a leash, sticking right by your side and looking to his person for security and guidance. While he may be shy at first, there’s a deeply loyal companion waiting to emerge once he learns to trust you. Charlie is a very sensitive boy. Loud noises, sudden movements, and new environments can be overwhelming for him, so he will need a calm, structured home where routines are predictable. He’s especially nervous around new people and prefers to go at his own pace—he’ll come to you when he’s ready, and that trust is incredibly rewarding to earn. One thing that truly helps Charlie shine is other dogs, as he gains confidence by following their lead. Because of this, he must have another young, confident dog in the home to help him feel secure and continue building his confidence. Charlie’s ideal home: • Quiet, standalone house (no apartments or busy city environments) • Securely fenced 6-foot yard • Adults only; no children • A patient adopter willing to let him move at his pace (he tends to bond most closely with women) • Someone home most of the time • Another friendly, confident dog He is still working on potty training and will need gentle guidance and consistency. Charlie also isn’t the type to jump right into cuddles—he prefers to take things slow and will build a deep bond with his person over time. At night, he sleeps peacefully in his dog bed right next to yours. If you have a calm home, a kind heart, and the patience to let a shy dog blossom at his own pace, Charlie could become your most devoted companion. Charlie is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $600.

I am potty trained, and I keep a tidy kennel. I am looking for a calm and loving home to look after me in my later years.You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032.Come and visit me today, I`d love to go home with you!A note from our vet...Your new pet received a basic physical exam, in addition to routine vaccines, deworming, and topical flea preventative, if indicated. Although your new pet is ready for adoption, there is always a possibility of additional medical conditions that have not been detected or may develop in the future. Current medical conditions are noted below.1) Dental diseaseDental disease is one of the most commonly diagnosed conditions in cats and dogs, affecting 50-80% of animals over 3 years old. Accumulation of plaque and tartar, gingivitis, and the eventual loss of tooth attachment are primary concerns. A dental exam, cleaning and radiographs under anesthesia may be required. In moderate to severe cases, tooth extractions may be needed. Consult with your regular veterinarian for the best treatment plan.2) Otitis externaThe external ear canal has an infection due to yeast and/or bacteria. Proper medication and routine ear cleaning is needed to resolve this infection. Often otitis externa is related to allergies. Routine otic exams are recommended. Additional care for these conditions may be needed after adoption. Please follow up with your regular veterinarian.
