Story
Sally's a 4 year old Aussiedoodle who has amazing recall and will be glued to you if you have a ball. She takes a min to warm up but is very sweet once she feels comfortable with you. She loves baths and really LOVES being brushed afterwards. Sally heels has basic and electric collar training. She is good at setting her boundaries with other dogs but is not aggressive in any sense of the word and could care less about other dogs if they leave her alone. She dose have a lot of energy but is mellow inside then once outside will chase a ball till she collapses. Sally has been a great dog for us but she needs a yard to run in and not an apartment with a few walks a day between my busy work schedule breaks. Sally will need someone who has time, energy, and some experience with active big dogs. She is trustworthy around cats kids and other dogs. Sally dose shed a little but it is very manageable, no food aggression, no toy possession, she would make a great addition to an active household.

Story
Hi there, my name is Betsy Ross! Like the famous American seamstress that copied my name, I am also the perfect sew-in to any family in need of companionship. Recently I was “stitched” into a foster home with several other pups of all shapes and sizes,  and that let me show off just how great I am! Some say I have a picture-perfect personality with the ability to fit in anywhere. Adaptability should be my middle name considering I play nice with any other dogs or humans, as well as my ability to keep myself busy (without getting into trouble I might add). If it were up to me, I would be outside 24/7. Whether it be playing with a potential human friend, or simply sunbathing on a suitable deck, I know how to make good use of my time! Car rides are a big hit for me, and I am working on leash training if you want to try an old-fashioned walk as well. If I sound like the type of friend you’d enjoy, don't keep me on pins and needles, apply today! Betsy is currently located in a foster home in Spokane, WA, and can be transported to your area! (See information below in the “Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue” section).   What is Path of Hope Rescue’s Adoption Process? Our adoption process takes on average 7-10 days. Begin by completing the online application. EVERY application receives an email response from us (check your spam folder!). Your personal Matchmaker will contact you, help you find your perfect pup match, and guide you through the process. Meet your potential pup at the home of the foster family (the process may differ slightly for long distance adopters). Bring your potential pup home for a no commitment In Home Trial. In Home Trials are a minimum of (2) nights for a puppy and one week for an adult. Your Matchmaker will check in with you during this time. Sign the adoption paperwork and adopt your new family member! Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue Our adoption process sets us apart. We specialize in learning about you and your family to find just the right fit for you. Our Matchmakers are not only good at what they do; they will also guide you through the entire process.  Our Minimum Adoption Donation is $550 for puppies under a year and $450 for dogs a year and older. We are a WA state registered non-profit and rely heavily on adoption donations to cover the expenses associated with saving lives. Our dogs are spayed/neutered prior to adoption; microchipped with free lifetime registration; and up to date on DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccinations (when age appropriate) and deworming and heartworm treatment/prevention. Adopters can also earn a $100 training refund if they attend (6) hours of any in person training course.  Long Distance adopters (one hour or more from Spokane) may choose to travel to Spokane to pick up their dog or use our monthly transport option, Puppy Delivery Express, for an additional delivery donation of $250. Puppy Delivery Express currently delivers dogs throughout Washington and to parts of Montana, Idaho, and Oregon. About Path of Hope Rescue At Path of Hope Rescue, our goal is to make EVERY DOG. WANTED. Our two employees and army of volunteers focus on transporting pregnant dogs and puppies from Texas, the number one kill state in America. The dogs we rescue are in poor living conditions and on euthanasia lists in shelters that are inundated with unwanted animals. We want to give these dogs a chance and bring them to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive, loving homes. We are 100% foster based; our dogs are fostered in loving homes where they are house and crate trained and learn basic obedience and leash skills. Dogs experience socialization opportunities with people, places, and other animals, and they receive the attention required to become well-rounded, healthy, and affectionate dogs that they would not otherwise receive in a shelter environment. Our commitment does not end when the dog is adopted. Path of Hope offers post adoption owner support including information on making the dog’s transition to your home a smooth one; recommendations for Preferred Trainers; advice on pet behavior and wellness topics; Facebook litter groups to keep in touch with fellow adopters; and invitations to local rescue hosted events.  Please visit https://www.pathofhoperescue.com/ for more information about our organization and the adoption process. ##2729500##
