Story
Welcome Swiffer. This little dork appears to be a wish.com version of a Pumi, and since Pumis are an incredibly rare breed, we speculate he's more likely a poodle doodle oodle project of some kind who came out with perky ears and a dense, course coat. Whatever he is, he hails from SCRAPS, has an estimated birthday of 02/23/2026, will likely mature at 40lbs or less, and is EXTREMELY FEARFUL.  So far Swiffer enjoys other animals, including dogs and cats. He is great in his crate, and he rides fine in the car. He is extremely shy and still thrashes on the end of the leash and heavily avoids people. We will work on his social skills every single day, and he is sure to make fast progress, but no matter what, he will still require a dedicated adopter who will hold him accountable to act in a reasonable manner and come to see people as a positive part of life.  Swiffer comes neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed.  His adoption fee is $300 and includes his leash, collar, ID tag, food sample, medical records, and complimentary consultation with a behaviorist to help both parties ace the new partnership.  To be considered to adopt, please begin by sending in an application at www.murcismission.org.  Thank you for checking out the Baby Swiff!  ##2740544##

Our Matchmakers are not only good at what they do; they will also guide you through the entire process.  Our Minimum Adoption Donation is $550 for puppies under a year and $450 for dogs a year and older. We are a WA state registered non-profit and rely heavily on adoption donations to cover the expenses associated with saving lives. Our dogs are spayed/neutered prior to adoption; microchipped with free lifetime registration; and up to date on DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccinations (when age appropriate) and deworming and heartworm treatment/prevention. Adopters can also earn a $100 training refund if they attend (6) hours of any in person training course.  Long Distance adopters (one hour or more from Spokane) may choose to travel to Spokane to pick up their dog or use our monthly transport option, Puppy Delivery Express, for an additional delivery donation of $250. Puppy Delivery Express currently delivers dogs throughout Washington and to parts of Montana, Idaho, and Oregon. About Path of Hope Rescue At Path of Hope Rescue, our goal is to make EVERY DOG. WANTED. Our two employees and army of volunteers focus on transporting pregnant dogs and puppies from Texas, the number one kill state in America. The dogs we rescue are in poor living conditions and on euthanasia lists in shelters that are inundated with unwanted animals. We want to give these dogs a chance and bring them to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive, loving homes. We are 100% foster based; our dogs are fostered in loving homes where they are house and crate trained and learn basic obedience and leash skills. Dogs experience socialization opportunities with people, places, and other animals, and they receive the attention required to become well-rounded, healthy, and affectionate dogs that they would not otherwise receive in a shelter environment. Our commitment does not end when the dog is adopted. Path of Hope offers post adoption owner support including information on making the dog’s transition to your home a smooth one; recommendations for Preferred Trainers; advice on pet behavior and wellness topics; Facebook litter groups to keep in touch with fellow adopters; and invitations to local rescue hosted events.  Please visit https://www.pathofhoperescue.com/ for more information about our organization and the adoption process. ##2729502##
