Story
Meet Pitot 🐾 6.5 years old | Blue Heeler | ~40 lbs (could lose a pound or two, same buddy, same) If you’ve been waiting for the unicorn of Heelers… congratulations. You found him. Pitot is officially out of the Tasmanian Devil stage — which means you get all the brains, loyalty, and personality of a Heeler without the constant urge to remodel your house at 3 a.m. ✨ What makes Pitot special: House trained & crate trained Amazing manners (yes, really) Great on leash Rides well in the car Bath time champion – will stand there like a professional Excellent recall – actually comes when you call him Self-regulating energy – not hyper, just the perfect “let’s go / let’s chill” balance Social life? Nailed it. Great with other dogs Good with cats (may chase occasionally, does not eat them) Best with bigger kids Personality-wise, Pitot is: Very affectionate Super friendly with people A world-class cuddler Loves to play fetch And will happily be your shadow wherever you go He’s the kind of dog that: ✔️ Follows you from room to room ✔️ Learns quickly ✔️ Listens well ✔️ Makes your life easier, not harder Bottom line: Pitot is an all-around amazing dog — loyal, steady, loving, and past the wild puppy phase while still full of life. If you’re looking for a best friend who already knows how to be a good boy… 🐾 Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipped prior to adoption. Our requirements are non-negotiable and include the following: All current pets in the home must be spayed or neutered if over 6 months of age, unless there is a documented medical exemption with veterinary confirmation. All current dogs must be up to date on Rabies and Distemper/Parvo (DHPP) vaccinations. All current dogs must be on consistent, consecutive heartworm prevention. Past dogs listed on the application must also show a consecutive history of heartworm prevention. To start the adoption process, please fill out our application here: 👉 https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WAG/Dog Please also take a moment to read our requirements located in the application. Please note: The dog you’re applying for might already have a meet-and-greet scheduled, be on a trial with another family, or has been offered to another rescue within our network. Don’t worry though — we’re always happy to help you find another great match if that happens! Our goal is to make sure every pup ends up in the best home for their needs (and yours too!).

Story
Shadow is a precious heeler mix that arrived at the shelter with his littermates. His owner brought them in after they were old enough to go up for adoption. The shelter got him ready for adoption by giving him all of his vaccinations for his age, they gave him a microchip, and they had him neutered. Shadow is very shy, but with lots of love and encouragement Shadow will grow to be a loving and pleasant member of the family. This little heeler mix would love to be adopted with one of his littermates! Wouldn’t that be fun having two of these sweeties growing up in your home?

Story
🐶 Say hello to Antha — the escape artist with a heart of gold! Antha is a 2-year-old Cattle Dog/Bulldog mix who’s as sweet as she is clever. She’s affectionate and calm around her people, but don’t let that fool you — she’s got a sneaky side and will test fences if left unattended. Antha is heartworm positive but manageable and ready to begin her journey to a better life with the right family. 🐾💗
