Story
ADOPT DUTCH After spending 2 months behind bars at the Devore Shelter as a 7 month old pup, Dutch made his way to a foster home. This boy is the physical embodiment of “everything, everywhere all at once”! Are we going for a walk in the rain—yay! Are we playing chase with our canine foster sisters—yay! Are we going for a ride in the car-yay! Are we just gonna cuddle on the couch—well, you get the idea. There’s really not much that Dutch doesn’t enjoy, and his enthusiasm is contagious! He is now 12 months old, fully vetted and very healthy. He is crate trained and potty trained. Because of his working breed background and high intelligence, Dutch is a fast learner and very eager to please. We think he’d do best in an active home, where his zest for life will really shine. A canine companion would be great, he loves them all, but as long as he has doggy friends, it’s not a deal breaker.  So whaddya say, wanna go Dutch?"   ##1681505##

Story
Macks is a beautiful and kind cattle dog/shepherd mix who was surrendered to a high kill shelter as a result of her owner passing away. She can be shy when first meeting new people at first, but when she's warmed up, she is a very affectionate girl. She needs a loving and patient adopter who can give her the time and love that she needs to feel welcome in her new home.

Story
ASHER THE CATTLE DOG WANTS TO BE YOUR ONE AND ONLY. Asher is an incredibly smart and sweet two-year-old cattle dog. He loves to bury his head in your arms during the day and cuddle all night. He will chill next to you while you work or relax, but he's always ready to play fetch at the drop of a dime. Asher came to the East Valley Shelter as a stray after he was found with a neck wound that appeared to be from a dog fight. His wounds are all healed and he is looking for his FURever home with an experienced cattle dog owner. Cattle dogs are extremely loyal to their owners but can be wary of strangers. They also tend to display dominance towards other dogs and use herding behaviors towards children. This is why we think Asher would be best as an only animal in a house with no children, and a yard to "do his work." Asher needs generous exercise and thrives when he has jobs to do. He is a "working dog." after all. He can play intensely at times and is very passionate about his toys. While walking, he is very intrigued with other dogs but does not typically bark at them. He may whine a little and pull, but he doesn’t pull strongly. Asher finds simple joy in being by your side and spending time with you! --- If you are interested in adopting ASHER please fill out our adoption application by clicking this LINK. Story
Whether you're looking to spend the evening in front of your favorite movie or head outside for an adventure into the unknown, Magnus is the best friend you've been waiting to meet! A joy in the home and office, Magnus loves to lounge around while his human friends work on the computer or watch television. Outside in the yard, Magnus enjoys any games that allow him to sniff out a prize, but he is not opposed to sitting with you on a park bench enjoying the sunset and collecting any pets you're willing to dish out. Magnus would do best in a single dog home where he can receive all of his adopters attention. From his outgoing personality and loving demeanor to his strokeably soft fur, Magnus has everything any prospective pet owner could ask from a new companion. Very affectionate and cuddly while not being overly dependent, Magnus is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a new best friend to follow them anywhere!
