He`s a sweet guy with a gentle face and if you think you can ignore him, think again! He`ll whine sadly at you until you come say hi! We have limited history about Thornton and are looking for a home with no other pets or kids. (This cutie wants to be your only baby!) but he`ll be sure to give you all the cuddles and adventures you need, all by himself! Thornton is house trained and has great leash manners (although he does get excited when he sees birds!) He does have a history of separation related stress and will benefit from a human who works from home, or is otherwise able to introduce absences slowly. If you`ve fallen for this cute face like we have, visit him at Calgary Humane soon!

Undersocialized and unsure, this pup likely didn’t have the best start in life, but there’s a gentle spirit underneath the uncertainty. He loves his toys and chews. Walks are hard for him as it can be a pretty scary world in the city here for this guy. An experienced, adult-only home would be the best fit—With the right support, this young dog has the potential to grow into a loyal and loving companion. This guy may fit in to country life if you ave a fenced in area where he can be contained, especially during bonding and learning his property. He would love an outdoor area to run in and a warm home to sleep in at night!
