Story
Meet Wallaby, an approximately 3-year-old Queensland Heeler Mix. Wallaby came to us as a stray, but since no one came forward to claim him, he is now available for adoption. Wallaby is very shy when meeting new people but once he warms up it's like you have always been his best friend. Wallaby seems to really enjoy the company of other dogs. If you are interested in Wallaby and have other dogs, a meet and greet would be required. We are also unsure at this time whether he is good with cats. If you would like to meet Wallaby, please call us at 928-636-4223 ext.7 to schedule an appointment!

Meet Wile, as in Wile E. Coyote. Wile is an approximately 8-10-month-old Cattle Dog mix. He was brought to the shelter as a stray. Wile loves playing fetch and being active. He is a sweet boy who loves people. It appears that Wile is house trained. He seems to like other dogs, however, a meet and greet with any potential fur siblings is required. If you would like to meet Wile, please give us call at 928-636-4223, ext. 7.

Story
Are you looking for a loveable girl to add to your family? Buffy might be the one! She is a cattle dog/lab mix, she has a cute little docked tail and weighs 39lbs (she could stand to lose a few pounds for her petite frame). Buffy would love a home where she could go on outdoor adventures and daily walks. She would thrive most with an active family that could keep your mind and body busy with learning and fun. Buffy loves to be with her people and could live with another compatible dog close to her size. This girl is going to make someone a wonderful companion. Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona.
