Story
Thor came from a bad situation where he and 11 other dogs were not being fed or given any attention. In spite of all that, Thor is friendly and craves affection. He loves back scratches and cuddles! He appears to be a little hard of hearing but he is not deaf.  Since being here he has learned how to walk on a leash and sit for treats. He is very smart and eager to please.  He is also a goofball and we all love him...you will too!  If you would like more information, please call the shelter at 870-269-5200 or go to our website at www.schspets.org and complete an adoption application and someone will contact you for a meet and greet.March 7, 2026, 11:00 am

Story
Reba is the sweetest puppy you could ever meet.  She came to us with her siblings, Riley and Riya.  Their mother showed up as a stray and had 4 puppies.  They all look totally different and we have no idea what the father is.  The mom is full grown and only weighs 25 pounds.  We think their potential weight is 25-20 pounds full grown.  She is extremely playful and socialized. She would make a great family pet and would do well with other dogs and kids too.  She does use potty pads but not house trained.  If you would like more information, please contact the shelter at870-269-5200 or go to our website and complete an adoption application and someone will contact you for a meet and greet.June 12, 2026, 4:16 pm

Story
Riya is one special puppy.  She came to us with her siblings,  Reba and Riley.  Mom showed up as a stray and had 4 puppies.  Mom is only 25 pounds full grown.  We have no idea what Dad is.  We think she will be about 30-35 pounds full grown.  She is potty pad trained so would be easily house trained.  She loves playing with other dogs and would do well with kids too.  She's very smart for her age.  If  you would like more information, please contact our shelter at 870-269-5200 or go to our website at schspets.org and complete an adoption application and someone will contact you for a meet and greet.June 12, 2026, 4:16 pm

Story
Ada enjoys belly rubs, booty scratches and going for walks. She also gets along with other dogs. She will be very shy at first, but if you are patient, you will end up with the best cuddle buddy! Ada has been here for 3 years due to her shyness.  Ada is 3 years old now and weighs about 45lbs. She has a black patch over one eye and beautiful touches of brown throughout her coat. She really is a beautiful gal! Please consider giving Ada a chance and contact SCHS to save her from living her entire life in this shelter.   If you have any questions or would like to come meet Ada, please go to our website www.schspets.org and complete an adoption application. We will contact you after that! You can also call the shelter at 870-269-5200 with questions. March 7, 2026, 11:00 am
