Wish is truly the embodiment of "second chance". Once considered "feral", now a friendly and social companion. She has learned to trust humans and embrace their company. She may never be a lap dog, but she has a heart full of love and loyalty, making her the perfect candidate to become someone's best friend. She loves the company of other dogs and brings so much joy to her human friends at the shelter. Her tail is constantly wagging in a big circle, reminiscent of a helicopter. We are so proud of her and hope that someone will see her resilience, and love her as much as we do.Our Adoption Fees are: Kittens (under 12 months): $175.00 Adult Cats: (over 12 months) $150.00Puppies (under 12 months): $250.00Adult Dogs (over 12 months): $225.00PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: A $75 training deposit is applicable to any and all dogs who are expected to be or are currently larger than 25 pounds. Story
Like a lot of great people and animals, Ray Ray came from humble beginnings. Only they know all of the details of their past, Ray Ray came to ACT as a young dog with multiple issues including an infected eye that had to be removed. His luck turned when he found his way to a loving foster home that offered good food, a quiet, consistent environment and a loving person all their own. Of course, they soon became "foster fails and were adopted by his foster mother. Life was very, very good, until his person suddenly passed away, and he found his way back at ACT. Ray Ray's world turned upside down. Generally afraid of new things, Ray Ray would do well in a quiet home where he could come or retreat as needed. But once he feels at home, you can bring out Ray Ray's magic wand...... Cheetos!!! Wave a Cheeto at Ray Ray and you'll be amazed at how many commands he knows.... provided a Cheeto is in sight. If dogs reminisce, I think he misses his human. We all do. But life is for the living, Ray Ray has a lot of life left to live. Ray Ray has a few special needs, but he has a lot of love to give.
