Story
My name is Belette and I am a bit of a shy girl. It seems my experience with humans in the past has been rough and I need a second to trust you, as I can be quite scared, but once I warm up you will see just how adorable and friendly I am.I love playing with toys and I know all my commands including sit, shake and lay down! I am a super smart girl and learn fast.I like some other dogs, but can be a little selective. I would prefer a submissive dog to be my companion. If there is a dog in the home I would need to meet them first.Come meet me and let me steal your heart! :)**I need to be a NO cat home**

Story
Wednesday is a three year old Australian Cattle Dog/Great Pyrenees mix. I adopted her from The Capital Humane Society about two years ago. I got her and another female dog who is around the same age at the same time. I did not know that two female dogs are more prone to fighting with one another, especially if they are around the same age. Lesson learned! Wednesday would do best in a home with a yard or land. She takes her watch duties seriously and loves to chase pesky squirrels. She is reactive to other dogs and barks at other neighbor dogs through the fence and at other dogs on walks. However, she has safely been to doggie daycare numerous times and does well in dog groups when she is not at home and not with me. She would love to be the only dog, but may do well with another male. She does not like rambunctious kids or cats due to their quick movements. Teens would be fine. She is very calm indoors and mostly a couch potato! She knows basic commands like sit, down, wait.

Story
ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED!! Brenda is the middle-aged, slightly overweight lady who will gossip all day with you! She is quite chatty, funny, and very loyal. She has great house manners being housetrained and fully trusted not to be crated. She walks great on a leash while wearing a harness. Brenda absolutely LOVES kids & adults, but can be alpha with dogs smaller than her. She does better with dogs her size or larger, or would also do great as an only pet. She lives harmoniously in her foster home with a 40 lb dog and a cat. Brenda is VERY smart and already knows commands of sit, lay down, shake, kennel up, and rollover. We think she knows many more and are just learning what she knows. She does not seem startled by loud noises or groups of people. We would love for her to have a home with a fenced yard so she can romp & sniff all the smells, but a fence is not required. This girl has a fantastic personality and would love to be the center of your world! Brenda is a female Cattle Dog/Beagle mix who was born approximately 1-30-17 and weighs 42 lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworms & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee has been sponsored for Brenda. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
