Story
I have had Rocket since January of 2020 and he has been a fantastic companion. I adopted him from Boulder Humane Society in Boulder, CO and he was 2.5 years old at the time, so he is now approximately 8 years old. He walks well on a no-pull harness and most of the time knows off, down, sit, stay. Doggie brains of course forget sometimes :). He is an incredible cuddler, will come over calmly if he senses you are stressed, and LOVES running around a big yard. The ideal home for him is one that has a fenced backyard with a doggie door so he can come and go as he pleases. He will alert you to intruders, greet you at the door, and be a great puppers with you outdoors as he still has a lot of energy. I love Rocket and never wanted to rehome him, however, with a baby on the way, 3 cats, and living in a smaller townhome with no backyard makes it difficult to imagine him happy here and I only want the best for him! I’d trust with him with kids over 4; unsure about younger due to his tail.
