Ruby is a young, red Heeler mix. She is a very sweet, happy and friendly girl. Ruby is reddish brown in her coloring and has a white chest. Such pretty, friendly eyes too. She seems to get along well with most people but may be best with just adults and older children. She does prefer a calm environment. Ruby is okay with other dogs. Meet Davina! 🐾❤️ At just 5 months old, Davina has already overcome so much. This sweet Heeler mix was saved from euthanasia in the nick of time, and while she arrived scared and unsure of the world, she's been making wonderful progress every day. Davina is still a bit timid in new situations, but her confidence continues to grow with patience, love, and the support of other dogs. Because of that, she would do best in a home with another confident canine companion who can help show her that the world isn't such a scary place. Like many Heelers, Davina has started to show some herding instincts. While it's all part of her breed, it's something potential adopters should keep in mind if they have small children or little dogs, as she may try to herd them during play. Davina is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, microchipped, and current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She's ready to leave her difficult past behind and find a patient family that will help her continue to blossom into the amazing dog she's meant to be. Meet Darla! 💙🐾 Darla is a 5-month-old Heeler mix with a sweet heart that's just waiting to bloom. She's still a little timid in new situations, but every day she's becoming more confident and letting her personality shine through. One thing that has really helped Darla is having other dogs around. She does well with canine companions and would likely thrive in a home with a confident, friendly dog who can help show her that the world isn't so scary. She'll need a family that's willing to be patient and let her build trust at her own pace. Because she's shown a lot of interest in the cats she hears around our shop—and given her Heeler heritage—we think a home without cats may be the best fit, though we can't say for certain how she would do in a home environment. Darla is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, microchipped, and current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. With a little patience, encouragement, and a canine role model, this sweet girl has all the potential to grow into a wonderful lifelong companion.
