Taz is a spunky little guy who is an Australian Cattle Dog (Heeler) mix about 8 years old (DOB:6/1/15).  He’s got a short- haired black coat with a splash of white down his neck and chest. He’s a sweet, friendly, happy fellow that loves to hang out with his best friend Shep. They were both surrendered due to their owner’s declining health.  Since Taz and Shep are bonded buddies, we will adopt these special guys out together to a forever home. We think it’s best they stay away from chickens (and perhaps other livestock) as they caused some casualties in their past lives with poultry! If interested, our shelter location is 11901 S. Coulter.  The Amarillo SPCA can be reached at 806-622-0555.  A visit and a completed prescreen are both necessary if wanting to adopt.April 23, 2024, 5:36 pm

Story
Brody is a 5 year old (DOB:12/27/18), Heeler/Dalmation mix.  Coloring is black with white spots and black mask. Brody is good with most other dogs, active and playful.  Brody seems to like both children and adults (may be a bit apprehenisive around some men).  We don't know if he is housetrained so may need some instruction.  We would recommend crating Brody at night, or if you are away from the home.  This would be at least until you know more about his behaviors.  Amarillo SPCA location is 11901 S.
