Story
Overall a good boy. He does not have any experience with other animals; he becomes timid when there is another dog in the aera. He is seemingly intelligent and friendly to people, being that he did not get training. He can fetch, follow directional ques, gentle with kids, and calm in a party/kickback setting. Fully an outdoors dog. He has escaped the backyard once then came back on his own a day later and hasn't attempted to leave again. Jax was brought home by a family member, who then moved out and left Jax behind at the family home. He became the house dog in general. This family is not "dog people" however they assumed responsibility. He was fed, housed, and occasionally taken on walks.

Story
Good day friends and welcome! Sir Tuck at your service! I was once a young knight hailed by the queen as the best in my class when suddenly I obtained an injury to my leg. The royalty no longer found me useful and exiled me from my homeland. I was discovered in park by a lovely long-haired maiden. Ah, the way her eyes glistened in the sunlight...I digress. She was extremely worried that I would scamper out into the lane and be trampled by one of those automatic wagons. She gathered me up and brought me to the magical land of Lucie. This place is full of other knights and maidens awaiting family suitors to offer a dowry to take them to their homes. Upon arrival, the lords and ladies took me to the 'leech' or as you call it 'doctor'. There it was discovered that I had a lot of muscle atrophy in my leg due to an old injury as a result of one of the many wars I fought in. I have limited mobility in that leg now, but don't let that fool you by any means. I am still able to run and play and defend the territory! And do you know what else?? This cloud has a silver lining. The lovely long-haired maiden that rescued me is now an invaluable volunteer maiden here at the magical land of Lucie! It would please me greatly if you would come to this land and meet me and the others here. We are waiting just for YOU!! *** We strive to ensure our dogs are going to a safe, loving and caring home. Story
Hi there! My name is Paul. Me and my brother and sister were found dumped in a ditch on a cold rainy night. Shivering, wet and scared, a kind lady stopped and offered us some help. She brought us home, but couldn't bring us in the house so she made a place for us outside to be out of the cold and rain. The next day, she called Lucies. Thank the Lord they had some space for us! 3 little pups is a lot for a shelter to take in and care for. Boy are we glad they did! We are not sure what breed we are...one vet called us a red heeler mix, while another said a hound mix. We have short little legs right now, so your guess is as good as ours. We are absolutely adorable though!! Each one of has our own cute little face and head markings. Personality..... boy howdy do we each have our own! While we are enjoying our time here playing with our handlers, we sure would love to have a home of our own. Please ask to meet us. You will fall instantly in love!! *** We strive to ensure our dogs are going to a safe, loving and caring home. Phone interviews are required for all adoptions****December 26, 2025, 11:40 am

Story
Hi, My name is Eleanor. I am a sweet affectionate blue heeler mix wanting to be loved, petted and played with. I absolutely love to cuddle and lay in the sunshine. I was dumped with my puppy. The puppy has been adopted, so that just leaves me I give lots of licks and shows of affection when played with. I'm a tad wary on car rides. I do well with other dogs, but do get a bit jealous for pets and kisses. I don't too much care for cats, but am okay under supervision with them. I tend to eat well without any food aggression or guarding. I'm a quick learner and very smart to pick up routines and commands. I absolutely love running around and exploring outside. I would make an ideal indoor/outdoor pet or indoor with enough room to handle my energetic play. I can do well in smaller areas, as I will lounge contentedly, but will definitely my outside play time. *** We strive to ensure our dogs are going to a safe, loving and caring home.
