Story
Comet is the sweetest boy. Extremely smart, well mannered, and loves like you wouldn’t believe. He will be 8 December 21st. We’ve had him since eight weeks old. It’s an extremely difficult decision but we are military and this upcoming move won’t allow us to keep him. Looking for a good, loving home.

Story
Please make sure to read the narrative below our pet's photos as you will find a description of our pet with all we know about them, our adoption fee info, and you will find the link to do our online Adoption Application which is the first step in our Adoption Process!     Please read ALL below where you will find answers about the pet, our adoption fees and how to do our adoption application!   Pet Description:  Milo is eight-months old as of early May and only 35 lbs.  Way too cute and sweet; surrendered as they were moving and said he couldn't go. While he is adorable he is not a couch potato - going to need an active owner for Milo as he has energy to burn!  Great with other dogs, might be too much for many cats as he thinks they look like great chase toys.  His coat will require very regular brush outs to keep it in shape.   DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more.  (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).   The first step is to our Adoption Application here:  https://elmorehumane.org/adoption-application-online-form2.html .   IMPORTANT – we respond to your emailed applications and queries via email back to you.  Please make sure you have either added our email  (hselco@bellsouth.net)  to your contact list or that you routinely check your SPAM folder for our response just to be safe. If we do not receive a timely response we simply move on to another applicant.   To learn more about us, visit our Website at: http://www.elmorehumane.org;  Phone: (334) 567-3377 Fax: (334) 567-8774 E-mail: hselco@bellsouth.net May 15, 2024, 10:14 pm

Good with other dogs. Unsure on cats.  Was outside so likely not formally housetrained. LOVES taking treats from us and then not eating them. Interested in toys, especially squeeky toys. Pretty laid back and loving getting attention.   DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100.
