Bucky is an energetic, toy-obsessed, and incredibly smart dog who thrives when he has a job to do. Toys are his greatest passion, but he’ll happily work for treats and kibble too, making him a great candidate for dog sports or advanced training. He knows his basics, is resilient, and is currently working on his crate training. Bucky needs a handler whose comfortable channeling big energy and continuing positive training, especially around other dogs, as he can be reactive during encounters. When he’s not training or playing, Bucky loves the water and is always up for a beach day. With the right outlets, Bucky’s enthusiasm and drive make him an amazing partner! ADOPTION PROCESS: The adoption process is simple and straight forward.Pre-Screening Adoption Application here: https://tinyurl.com/adoptfromHSCCOur receptionists can usually approve/dis-approve your application same day. Once approved and everyone is in agreeance with the decision being made you then are able to pay your adoption fees. Adoption contract will be signed. If the pet has not been spayed/neutered or current on rabies vaccination prior to adoption, the pet you wish to adopt will not be able to go home same day as it's adoption day. We will schedule the next available appointment day & time - you will be informed with further directions/instructions at that time.  We hope this answers any and all questions you may have regarding the adoption process.
