Story
Gemma is a darling 9 yr young Aussie looks like husky mix. She does great with my big dogs but is selective with small dogs. No cats please! She loves children and is crate trained and house trained. Gemma does have a leaky bladder when she sleeps. She is on Proin twice a day which has worked great for controlling the leakage. She was a light positive for heartworms and has been through Heartworm treatment. She is up to date on vaccines, Heartworm meds, and flea/tick meds. Gemma is active and loves to go for walks. If you are looking for a walking buddy then she is for you. Story
Sweet Makena had a very rough beginning to her life but with the help of a nice neighbor lady she is safely in a foster home. Makena is approximately 1 to 1 1/2 years old, spayed and up to date on vaccines, Heartworm and flea medications, and microchipped. Makena is high energy so no small children. She was not properly socialized as a pup so she plays rough with other dogs. She does calm down after a few minutes but is excitable in the beginning. She needs another playful dog her age to play with. Because of her upbringing Makena still has some accidents when she gets excited or left alone too long. She is crated when I am at work but loves to be with her people when they are home. This sweet girl needs someone with a lot of time and patience to continue to show her the love she deserves. Makena needs a fenced yard of her own to get plenty of exercise. If you don’t have a fenced yard (no dog parks) please don’t fill out the application. Makena will also need someone that is retired or works from home because she is still working on housetraining and does well if she can go out ever 2 to 3 hours, and with consistent work she should learn to go longer but for now that is all she is able to do. If you have time to show this sweet little red head some love please fill out the application with Australian Shepherds Furever. Makena is being fostered in Perry, Georgia https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to her new furever family.
