She’s currently enrolled in our STAR Inmate Training Program, where she’s learning her basic obedience and doing amazing. This on-point pupper is Taz who recently completed our STAR Inmate Training Program where he learned basic obedience commands! He is approximately 2 years old and weighs 46 lbs. We think he is an Australian Kelpie/maybe some Chow mix, and was living on a chain because he was a danger to the neighborhood cats. So, no cats or small critters around this boy!  Other than that, Taz is fantastic! He’s dog friendly, loves everyone he meets, and is so happy to be off of that chain and living life as a real dog should! He loves to please and really bonds with his person. My name is Shaboozey and I am looking for my forever family. You see I had an owner who I thought was a really nice person , but then she brought me down here to the shelter and just left me in the lobby all alone ! I was really scared but thankfully the amazing people here took me in instantly and have been taking care of me ever since. Even though I was abandoned I sure do love all the different people I meet here ! I am always up for kisses and cuddles. I keep to myself quite a bit and seem to get along well with the other dogs here at the shelter , but my favorite part of the day is for sure when the people take me outside to play ! Do you want a smaller dog, who is calm, sweet and wants to be by you, plus gives great kisses? Kendall may be the girl for you. She has been pretty nervous at the shelter. But has warmed up to the staff and volunteers. She is so sweet and calm! She is a smaller girl, maybe a heeler/corgi mix, and has gorgeous markings and adorable spots. She met a sweet, older lady and warmed right up to her, wagging her tail and giving kisses. So she might do best in a quiet, calm home. She has been with a temp foster and has done well with her 4 young children. She has been pretty aloof with the resident dog. Kendall is spayed, vaccinated and ready for her furever home!

Blaise came to us as a stray and very scared. We noticed he liked to sit against the chain link fence where another dog would lay against it on the other side so we decided to dog test him before his decompression time was done. And boy did he flourish! He loves other dogs and came right out of his shell. He now has a kennel mate and they do not need to be adopted together. He might do best with slow introductions. Blaise is neutered, vaccinated and ready to find his forever family! Please stop by to meet him!
