This on-point pupper is Taz who recently completed our STAR Inmate Training Program where he learned basic obedience commands! He is approximately 2 years old and weighs 46 lbs. We think he is an Australian Kelpie/maybe some Chow mix, and was living on a chain because he was a danger to the neighborhood cats. So, no cats or small critters around this boy!  Other than that, Taz is fantastic! He’s dog friendly, loves everyone he meets, and is so happy to be off of that chain and living life as a real dog should! He loves to please and really bonds with his person. Coco is a total lovebug—she adores people (especially kids) and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. My name is Shaboozey and I am looking for my forever family. You see I had an owner who I thought was a really nice person , but then she brought me down here to the shelter and just left me in the lobby all alone ! I was really scared but thankfully the amazing people here took me in instantly and have been taking care of me ever since. Even though I was abandoned I sure do love all the different people I meet here ! I am always up for kisses and cuddles. I keep to myself quite a bit and seem to get along well with the other dogs here at the shelter , but my favorite part of the day is for sure when the people take me outside to play ! With patience and kindness, he has made incredible progress and is now feeling safe, confident, and eager to seek out love and affection from people. He’s working hard on his basic commands and just learned “sit” today, showing how smart and motivated he is. Collin appears dog-friendly, as he arrived at the shelter alongside a female dog, and he’s easily redirected, making him a joy to work with. And if you’re looking for a way to win his heart quickly—hot dogs are definitely his favorite! Collin is ready for a home that will continue building his confidence and celebrate all the wonderful progress he’s made. Collin is neutered, vaccinated and ready for his furever home.
