Story
Olive came to us as a stray that we picked up from a manufacturing plant. She had been hanging around the area for a bit before we caught her. She had a wound to her face, by her eye and ear. After a quick trip to the vet, they've estimated her at 5 years young with damage to her ear canal. We are getting her surgery scheduled for an ear canal ablation, which is $2,000. Olive is potty/kennel trained, walks great on leash, and was previously trained to load herself into vehicles. Olive will be ready to adopt after her ear canal surgery, spayed, microchipped, up to date on her shots and flea/tick/heart worm prevention.

Story
Robin is the ultimate cuddlebug with a love for two things: being in your arms and playing ball! This sweet girl will happily curl up for snuggles any chance she gets, and when it’s time to play, she’s all about a good game of fetch. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has the cutest set of ears that perk up the moment she hears your voice. Robin is affectionate, playful, and ready to be someone’s whole world. If you’re looking for a loving companion with a heart full of joy (and ears full of personality), Robin is your girl!

Story
This on-point pupper is Taz who recently completed our STAR Inmate Training Program where he learned basic obedience commands! He is approximately 18 months old and weighs 46 lbs. We think he is an Australian Kelpie/maybe some Chow mix, and was living on a chain because he was a danger to the neighborhood cats. So, no cats or small critters around this boy!  Other than that, Taz is fantastic! He’s dog friendly, loves everyone he meets, and is so happy to be off of that chain and living life as a real dog should! He loves to please and really bonds with his person. Taz is so ready for his forever family! If you think your family might be the one, please visit Father our website at carerescueok.org for our application!   ##2098808##

Story
Scout, Pet Detective is a dog who is sweet, smart, and adventurous. He is a very curious dog who is always eager to learn new things and explore the world. He is very loyal to his family and loves to cuddle up on the couch with his favorite people after a long day of investigating. He gets along with other dogs and Scout loves people. He is both house and crate trained and working on his leash skills. Like any good detective, he is smart and a great listener. Scout is looking for a relaxing home where he can retire from his days of solving mysteries. If you're looking for a quiet, calm, and sweet companion, come meet Scout! He's sure to steal your heart with his adorable antics and his love for cuddles. He is around 2-3 years old and 55 pounds. We think he is an Australian kelpie mix of some sort. Interested in becoming a forever home for Scout? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us.For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $175. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Story
BALL. IS. LIFE. Hey there, I’m Kane – a 1-year-old Australian Kelpie with a serious fetch addiction. Let’s keep it real: you throw it, I will chase it. Over and Over! But don’t worry, once we’ve conquered the backyard (or a whole field), I’m also down to crash on the couch and binge some belly rubs.I’ve got brains and manners – “drop it,” “leave it,” I know ‘em all. I’m the total package: playful, loyal, and always ready for the next adventure. So, if your heart (and your hands) are full of treats, toys, and time – I’m ready to be your ride-or-fetch partner. Let’s do this.
